We could not believe it when Alaskan transplants of 26 years told us the best steaks in town were at a Chinese restaurant! So we had to try it and they were right! The building is a bit deceiving but the food was fantastic both in price and taste. My mom and I shared the chef seafood special and my husband and Dad both got the tenderloin (14oz) with potato options and my son got the 22oz porterhouse that came with a side of potatoes of choice and bread- all were very nicely done! The waitstaff were super nice and friendly.

Steaks and rice dishes are on point! shrimp, and Mongolian beef😋

On anthother note I have to say the lo mein/chow mein were both a real dissapointment for me. Really had high hopes for those dishes😑, still love the place though and the steaks alone give this place a solid 4/5!

This is a hidden gem. The food is good, even though it's not advertised much, it is very busy because locals know that this is a cat's meow. :)

I ordered take out. My husband had the General Tso's chicken and enjoyed it. However, my chicken chow-mein was awful. The chicken wasn't thoroughly cooked, making the dish inedible. There were still raw pieces! The beef egg rolls were ok. The waitress/receptionist/cashier was very busy, but efficient.

Used to like their food but got violently ill the other day an hour after eating. If I had to guess it was the Mongolian beef.

I went there with no expectations. The dishes were lovely though. I had the sizzling hot plate beef, the delicious crispy Peking duck and a Kong bao toufu which was also very good. We did ask the chef to reduce the salt level since we come from Singapore and the locals tend to be generous with salt.

Honestly, I don’t understand how it has any good reviews. Maybe the American menu?? The only okay part of the meal was the Mongolian beef, and even that lacked flavor and was only good because however they cooked it made it deliciously crispy. The egg foo young just tasted like bean sprouts as that seemed to be the main ingredient, the gravy had almost no flavor. And the fried rice actually tasted BAD not just flavorless. I don’t know how anyone but Jamie Oliver can mess up fried rice so badly.

Heard that this place had great steak, and we were not disappointed! Between that and the awesome Chinese menu, this might be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Anchorage.
