The fried chicken sandwich is good (but it tasted like fish). I really liked the Boba fizzy soda.
The mac and cheese tasted like Annie's boxed mac and cheese. Don't bother paying for it. You can make it at home.
The caramel apple bread pudding is heavenly!!
Portion sizes are good! I had leftovers.
Visited Spenard Roadhouse in early September based on it's reputation. Early evening wait was only 20 minutes. ordered the Carnita Tacos, which were okay but unimpressive. Low rating is based mostly on the server (Sebastian) who was the worst I've had in recent memory and completely uncaring when I told him so. There are plenty of restaurants in Anchorage, I doubt I'll go back to Spenard.
Our server Michael was on point with his recommendations and his knowledge. Great job!
