Great experience at the Girdwood Subway! The staff was friendly, fast, and made everything exactly how I wanted. I also tried the new Protein Pockets and they were SO good — fresh, filling, and a perfect grab-and-go option. Definitely coming back!“

“I had just come from a concert and everything was packed up and backed up and closing and I came just a few minutes before closing and they still helped me they didn't complain about serving me or about the fact that I came in right when they were about to close up. they provided me with great customer service I really appreciated me the guy that was helping me out. he was so fun to talk and professional. he put on clean gloves to make my sandwich and when something got on his gloves while making my food he went and changed the pair of his gloves just for me without me saying anything about it . He put on a fresh pair of gloves when making my food. Alot of the places around the country I've seen them keep the gloves on sweep stuff off of the counter and pick up trash and then come back and make your food and you have to complain. the fact that this man cares so much about his job and about the quality of his work that he put on fresh gloves and multiple gloves while making my food really impressed me and it was so thoughtful. It's hard to find people at food places like that that care.“

“I've gone here at least 3-4 times, it's always been clean and well taken care of. I've never seen any vagrants in here despite the location.

This is always a great location to hit before the airport on the way out of Anchorage.“

“This place has a drive-thru. Which makes it convenient as the parking is very small. I'm glad that they're open in the mornings for breakfast. I do wish they would open up a little bit earlier. I actually go there for the breakfast sandwiches. I'll even get a breakfast sandwich for lunch. The staff was very friendly. And I am so glad that they have unsweetened iced tea!“

“This location on Lake Otis has very a rude manger and employees. I waited 15 minutes and I was the only one in line. They were blowing their noses with gloves on. I eventually just left. This was my second time having this experience, and I will not go again.

“I came here with my brother and the food is pretty good although I do admit to the weekend it's the almost end of the night they weren't very stocked so my brother had to pick a different sandwiches than he wanted to their customer service can use a little work but it is a good place to eat“

“I'm I'm love with their sandwiches I go there everyday even when I'm not hungry the best part about subway is that you get to create your own sandwich and if you are not feeling a sandwich you can always get a salad or a wrap which you would call a burrito but it's still pretty delicious it's good for breakfast and lunch“

“The mixed guy with the tattoos that has pretty eyes and wears a durag is the embodiment of customer service! All the employees here need to mirror this guy seriously. Best service in a long time! Every time I come to this location I get some sort of attitude from the chubby white kid that wears the glasses and AirPods. I literally watched him touch money then put on gloves, he makes me want to avoid this place altogether. I’m tired of getting scoffed at and feeling like a burden. I will only be ordering if that young man makes me food he’s polite and respectful 10/10 service from him“

“When it comes to Subway in Anchorage THIS IS THE PLACE! The good vibe starts when you walk in the door and every customer is greeted by an employee, who are always quick and courteous, handling lunch crowds with great efficiency. I know it seems overrated at times to some, but it’s my favorite. Not only the food which is absolutely amazing, but the customer service. We go out of our way to come to this location 2-3 times a week even if we're working across town! Most people go to Subway for the food but we come here for the people!! I want to recognize the workers at the Subway on the corner of International Airport Road and C Street who always provide my coworkers and I with a First Class experience. From their beautiful smiles and positive attitudes to their attention to detail with your food, Sandra and Marissa go out of their way to make each visit just as memorable as the last! I am truly grateful that these young women always go above and beyond in providing not just good, but truly excellent service!! They deserve praise. Compared to other fast food, this Subway store is a clear 5-star!!!“
