Looking at the previous reviews I was a little concerned but the meal, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Was able to grab a table right away and did not take long for Natasa to take our drink order. Lots of beer on tap to choose from plus many other drink options . I had the halibut and fries which were excellent and my wife really enjoyed her salmon. Not sure what they put in the cole slaw but I want the recipe . If you want a great restaurant to end your stay in Alaska...
We were disappointed- the website shows wonderful views of beautiful Lake Hood as the hotel is located on the largest seaplane airport in the world. The view from our room was a wall from the building next door. It was over $900 a night for the room and the room was clean but we expected more. Ceilings are low and we walked for what seemed like 10 minutes to get to our room- a long way. Breakfast/lunch place was just OK — it was not very clean — the place has potential but...
We stayed here after a cruise and had a wonderful stay. Place is clean, room was perfect, ate at the restaurant…food delicious! It was a perfect place to stay outside of town and close to the airport. Thank you so much
