Korean VIP is definitely the best and most authentic Korean food in Anchorage. Those reviews which are complaining about service don't realize you are also getting an authentically non-American customer service experience :) In all seriousness, this place has killer stone pot bibimbap, lots of seafood, and more and higher quality banchan than I've seen at any other Korean place. (Other places serve maybe 5 or 6; I get 7-10 every time I go here.) I especially recommend...

VIP is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Anchorage! When I want South Korean food, this is the only place I go.

I absolutely love this place—especially the hot pot, which is the best I’ve had in town. It’s also the only place I’ve found that serves proper banchan in Anchorage, which makes it even more special.

I frequent this restaurant and am satisfied everytime! The last time we went my wife got the BBQ chicken and I got the #11 beef short ribs. The short ribs were maybe the best beef I have had in the state of Alaska. They were so tense and just fell off the bone with a small pull with the chip sticks. It was a very busy day and they do not have a large staff, so the service was a little bit slow but they were very nice and we had a wonderful dinner.
