W&R wasn’t necessarily the most welcoming environment. I also didn’t appreciate the air of pretentiousness from the staff. Although the atmosphere was gorgeous it was really loud. Our server was abrasive and said some comments that were passive aggressive, but he did his job well. The appetizers were great! I recommend the scotch tamago. The food and atmosphere was great! I came here for my birthday. Our main waiter was amazing but the other girl who served our appetizer and ramen, not so much. She slammed our ramen on the table and walked away without saying anything on my birthday.
It’s a “on special occasions only” type of place since everything is so pricey, but I thought the steak was great. I ordered ramen and it wasn’t amazing (won’t order again). The non-alcoholic drink I ordered was AMAZING. I think it was Starburst, but I could be wrong. Definitely would order that again.
