I love stopping in at this place for a drink and some free popcorn. A pint was only $5 as well, which is a price that’s hard to find in Alaska! Great service from the bartender.
Great bar with lots of history of the coal miners. Friendly service with lots of locals. Grew up in the area years ago and was really cool to see my Grandfathers picture on the wall with all the other coal miners.
Shout out to Rocky Dolfi who lives in the area and knows everyone around also is a wealth of historic information.

Don't really hang out there because I live out of town but the owner is a FABULOUS woman who was so kind and helpful when our rig broke down. Had to give her a shout out for her kindness to strangers that day.
