If you're on Cooper Landing for a while or just passing through, definitely stop by!

Breakfast was great. Easy, simple, straightforward. We saw oatmeal, French toast and a breakfast sandwich. All were inhaled and loved. Would definitely go again for breakfast. Nice typical Alaska roadhouse.

If you are in the area looking for a guided fishing trip, THIS is who you want to use. The equipment is solid, the waders and boots are comfortable, and the guide is one of the best I’ve ever worked with.
Chris is not only a great guide, but an awesome all around good person, which is hard to find these days. He knows the waters well, and had a plan to get into some good fish! He’s ethical, follows the law, respects the wildlife and environment, and has a passion for what he does. If he’s not guiding, he’s fishing. He even makes his own baits and lures.
It was my first time in Alaska, and I was on the fence about hiring a guide service or just going fishing on my own, and I am so glad I hired a guide. We had a great day fishing and I’ll be back next summer.
Be willing to have a flexible schedule! Chris likes to truly work the waters and go where the fish are, so plan on fishing a full day, because he will do everything he can to get you and your friends the limit.

Had breakfast and lunch here driving through Cooper Landing on two different days. Good food and even when the place was packed at lunch the service was fast.
Had a great meal here. Burgers and sweet potato fries were amazing. The highlight was the smoked salmon chowder. Had to get extra to take home! It is so delicious. Bonus: really enjoyed the restaurant decor and coziness of the place!

I had the halibut fish n chips basket. It was fried perfectly and the fries were nice and crispy. The carrot cake was truly the best carrot cake I have eaten in my entire life. I would recommend everyone stop by for some of this food when in season.

Orders were wrong, bill was wrong, one guy was forgotten about and then told it was too late for breakfast. Terrible place.

Super expensive ($25 for a Philly Sandwich $19 for a bloody mary - at least menu said so, we didn't order one). Really awful service too. We, party of 2, waited 50 minutes for food, a burger and Philly. We left at that point, so can't say how the food was.
