Great meal after a day of hiking. Hearty, flavorful and really well priced. I'd definitely come back.

Rafters Bar, located in Cooper Landing, offers a pleasant dining experience with outdoor patio seating. The Reuben sandwich and veggie sandwich are recommended, served with a choice of regular or sweet potato fries. The staff is friendly and the lodge has a cozy atmosphere with wood furniture and fireplaces. The location is popular for Princess Cruises, with stunning views from the lodge deck. A shuttle service is available for guests, and there are walking trails and a gift shop on-site. Recent visitors praised the spectacular views and delicious food, especially mentioning the Alaskan Salmon Chowder and Pepperoni Flat Bread, which were so good they didn’t want to share. The restaurant is a top choice for travelers passing through, and the staff provides fast, friendly, and efficient service even when busy. The outdoor patio offers a wonderful setting, especially on warmer days, with views and ambiance that make for a relaxing experience while enjoying after-dinner drinks. Overall, Rafters Bar remains a great spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy good food and a cozy, scenic atmosphere in Alaska.
