Great place at Princess lodge. Breakfast is good - buffet is ok. Dinner was delicious with great Silver Salmon and Halibut. Smoked salmon crowder was delicious as was the bison chili. Bar has a slightly different menu than the main restaurant but you can get both menus in each location. The bar has an outside deck that is nice and overlooks the Kenai river.
We enjoyed dining at the main restaurant at Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge. The food was great especially the local dishes like the salmon and halibut. The steaks and prime rib were also really good and they do serve breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great stop on our way to Talkeetna!!! Food and service was amazing.

Visitors often recommend trying the Kenai Smoked Salmon Dip, which is described as YUM, and the bacon lollipops, noted for being perfect. Those who enjoy burgers will still find the Maple Candied Bacon Burger very good. The location offers incredible views, sunshine, and a classic dining hall decorated with trophy fish mounts and antique rods. While service can sometimes be slow, the excellent service from staff, including attentive care for large groups, enhances the experience. Despite some guests feeling that the food may not always be worth the price, the good food and pleasant setting make Rod & Reel a memorable place to dine.
