Corks and Hops

We purchased the Thanksgiving meal with the added prime rib.
Turkey was dry, the stuffing was like mash potatoes and the flavor was gross. Cranberry sauce needed more sugar. The heating instructions was way off. Took over an hour to get to the temps they said.

I gave it five stars across the board, because Shelby absolutely took the effort to accommodate my dietary preferences. I was well taken care of and she had a fantastic attitude, great sense of awareness, amazing personal and great recommendations for wine. Finn was also very accommodating and I can tell it is because of his keenness in listening and observing the room, as well as being thoroughly trained by Shelby, - a Corks and Hops Veteran.
What a wonderful place to host an event, or even to enjoy a nice evening with a friend or lover.
I recommend this place highly, so long as Shelby and Finn are working. They are the reason I will be coming from Anchorage out to Eagle River to enjoy a delicious glass of wine (I recommend and was recommended the Conundrum White, and the Conundrum Red was delicious too!) and a good, well-done meal!
Thank you so much for also personally not making me feel like my dietary preferences were “too much,” and for doing absolutely perfectly on creating a dish that secondaries my needs very well. THIS is the place!

First time going to see this place. Beautiful restaurant. Great service, really good, greeting, talking, sharing knowledge of the menu. Really yummy chicken on the strawberry salad and it was warm, thick juicy, perfectly cooked. Decent wine list, but not extensive, but varied. With a couple flight options. Everything's good, but a few observations for improvement. Salad took a long time to arrive, over 30 minutes, thought that was odd since they weren't busy. Women's bathroom was nice, but no hot water, and no hook to hang coat or purse. Overall, despite the time waiting, i enjoyed it too much to not give 5 stars. Will Def be back.

Absolutely a winner! Great wine selection and the food ...oh yes the food is fantastic. The staff is professional and attentive. Water glass is never empty. Our go to wine tasting every Thursday, just can't say enough about the service, food and wine eelection.

Jasmine was an absolute delight as my server! The food was delicious as well.

Came the first time as soon as they opened for lunch with my husband. We had the French onion soup and tomato soup- delicious! The burgers had us wanting more and came back a few weeks later with our four kids as we know they love burgers. It all looked the same but tasted completely different, dry to the point we couldn’t take another bite. Very disappointed as we came all the way from Palmer to have a meal. They didn’t make us pay, good customer service. Will not come back due to not knowing what we will get.

Food and service was great but a bit too pricey for locals. I think they are trying to target vacationers. We only had two cocktails and a party of 4 and spent $300. Too much for a casual dinner out reservations suggested.

Always like to visit a Craft brewery whenever I travel...This place did not disappoint. I experienced a self-selected flight. IPAs to porters & stouts. All very good. Atmosphere very relaxed & cool. Customer service very Good.& Equal. Always ice to have the owners on site to confirm tasting notes, etc.
Happy to have visited & happy a craft brewery remains in business. SUPPORT LOCAL Businesses!

Update to my 5 star review: if I could give more stars I would. Corks and hops is amazing. They continue to impress every time they update their amazing menu. The only time I’ve ever been disappointed was when I wanted 2 different entrees but couldn’t eat both.

My wife and I regularly eat here and are always happy to see Ashley and Shelby specifically. They are always kind and friendly, are knowledgeable about the food and drink menus, and make fantastic conversation.

Ignore any haters, or better yet, read their reviews and laugh at their wild inaccuracy and petty nonsense. Anyone that says it’s pricey is just angry that one generally pays for quality.

Everything about this place is awesome. Their crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms are a must have. Their steaks are to die for, and their lunch menu reigns supreme!

As a Chef with a lifetime of experience, I can say with absolute confidence that our meal at Corks and Hops was nothing short of perfection, a true five-star triumph! The filet mignon, potatoes, and broccolini were already a standout, but the add-on shrimp with sauce took it to another level. The shrimp were plump, perfectly cooked, and draped in a sauce so flavorful it elevated every bite. My husband’s Champion’s Choice steak was equally phenomenal, juicy, expertly seasoned, and cooked to his exact preference, showcasing the kitchen’s mastery. We also sampled the French onion soup, which was rich, savory, and topped with a perfectly caramelized cheese crust, and the stuffed mushrooms, which were bursting with umami and perfectly balanced flavors. Every dish was a testament to the skill and passion of the Corks and Hops team, with impeccable presentation and attention to detail. This meal was a culinary delight that left us both in awe. Can’t wait to return for more!
