The BEST Mexican food in all of Alaska!!! Far superior to the neighboring Tex-Mex style restaurants like Garcias and Chepos. If you want authentic Tijuana/SoCal style Mexican food this is it!!! More specifically if you like food that has real flavor then El Pastor is your place, but if you’re looking for quantity over quality then head over to Jalapeños for same flavorless out-of-a-can slop that the majority of Mexican restaurants in Alaska serve.

Easily the best Mexican restaurant I've tried in Alaska. The food is legitimately good, very fresh and flavorful. The portions are sizeable and the menu offers plenty of options. The breakfast food alone makes this place worth a stop. The service we recieved was very friendly, and we had no difficulties getting seated at our table quickly. I would definitely visit here again!

We LOVE El Pastor! The food is delicious whether we eat in or get it to go and the service is great! We ate there tonight and ordered a quesadilla and taco salads. The quesadilla came out a little well done, but we weren't going to complain about it. Maybe 5 minutes later they brought out a replacement and even put the other one in a togo box so we could take it home. We'll definitely be back, but then, we usually eat here at least once a week! 😊
