Haven't been here for a while. Monday night, Not too busy, service at the bar was excellent. Food was good and so were the drinks and salsa. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

The first time we went I had the Skillet fries and while it is more on the expensive side for french fries the portion is huge and generously topped with everything. The food comes out quick and hot. The service is super friendly and fast as well. The second time I had the quesadilla with the shredded chicken and they for sure did not skimp on the chicken. It was very filling and the chicken was super juicy.

The chips and salsa were good. I ordered a combination plate with a taco, cheese enchilada and chili relleno. The taco and chili relleno were okay. The enchilada was really good and very cheesy! My husband always orders the mini chimichangas. They come with a delicious dip. The fireball margarita is different...probably won't order that again. Service was great.

Born and raised in Eagle River, Garcias has been around for about 40 years now. The world has seen many changes, Alaska has as well, and Eagle River certainly seen even more but this place rolling with the changes has maintained its awesomeness!

Famous for the mini chimis, free chips and salsa! Can’t go wrong ducking in here for a meal. Staff is always nice and friendly, and much like any thriving restaurant, they try new things to appeal to customers and battle any new competition coming to the area.

They have held up and continue to be a staple of Eagle River dining.

I fell in love with the pollo fundido over 20 years ago, the first time I had it. Still just as good now as it was then. Great portion. I always get the dinner entrée so I have 2 meals out of it. Friendly service. I don't live in Eagle River, but make it a point to stop in once or twice a year.

100% do not recommend. The service was poor (no one even came back to offer to refill drinks or ask how was the food until the end of the meal). The music was so loud that it banged through the seats and you couldn’t even have a conversation with the person across the table from you. Is this a restaurant or a wanna be bar? The food wasn’t good. The meat had been over marinated and tasted like beef jerky. I can’t find anything positive to say about our visit.
