My wife and I stopped in while on a date, it was our first time trying this bakery. I saw they had Blueberry Cake Donuts. I have tried these at several other bakeries so I thought I would compare it to my favorite one I have had. By far hands down way better. The blueberry flavor permeated the entire cake donut and was the best I ever had. It is an amazing bakery and one we will visit when traveling through Eagle River. Wonderful friendly server. Thanks

As I drove in the Glenn highway on a Sunday morning I gave my order over the phone and drove to the grizzly donut shop and the manager brought my huge order to me curbside. Compliments all around from the dog mushers who feasted. Thank you!

I went there yesterday for the first time with my and it was amazing. The younger gentleman that was helping us was so helpful and kind. We tried the fruit tea with popping boba and it was delicious ! We also got 2 donuts and a cinnamon roll which were delicious ! Such a cute shop in eagle river . Definitely go try the boba and donuts .

I'm both a Thai ice tea and boba snob, originally from California, so I was thrilled when I came across Grizzly Boba. Anchorage doesn't really have great options for boba, and this place is worth the short drive. Generous boba portions, drinks are on the sweeter side but customizable. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming, gave our group samples and donuts to try. Will become my after hiking treat!
First time coming in they were super nice and even gave us some samples of ice cream, definitely worth stopping by!! Decent selection as well

Perfect fluffy doughnuts! Great flavor options. Even has ice cream from Big Dipper. Lots of indoor seating and the employees are always nice!

Update 7/30/2023 i love businesses that pay attention to their customers, thanks for your response.I gave it another go, ordered a dozen and shared them at work. They are beautiful and you definitely have your niche. Seems like something I'd goto in a tourist location. The donuts are uniquely decorated, something I'd bring small kids to and enjoy with ice-cream. They would love it. The worm on the chocolate iced one was a nice touch. I like that it's local, veteran owned and this time the service was much better. So for all these reasons I think its worth at least a 4 out of 5.Unfortunately the actual donut isn't the best. I also got an apple fritter and it was just ok. The niche is great for kids but I wouldn't get them for work again. And the cost was 1/3 more expensive than other donut places that I like better. So for the general donut day splurge, its not for me. But I may bring grandchildren here for a special donut and ice-cream. Then I'll give back to the parents all sugared up.Previous review:When they start baking good donuts I'll give them another try.Update: Ha, I stand corrected!! Its great when the business responds.
