This place is definitely overpriced for the amount of food you get. The food also isn’t the best.

Terrible service and food. I ordered Pho soup, but didn’t receive any vegetables or sauce. The noodles were stuck together. I tried calling, but no one answered, and I was hung up on twice. I'm still trying to call. Excuse my photo, which was taken after I pulled my noodles apart after calling twenty-two times and gave up. Because no one picks up the phone.

We’ve ordered to go 3 times in 3 wks and it’s been a terrible experience every time. Usually over an hour wait, even when there are hardly any customers at the restaurant. This last time they forgot to add rice. How are you going to charge $22 for a small box of sesame chicken and forget to add rice? AND up charge fried rice? Why would you add garnish but not rice???
Some of these reviews are brutal! My family dines in, orders out, and gets delivery from Kim's Cuisine. It is our favorite restaurant in Eagle River. They have signs up saying they are experiencing a staff shortage but anytime we come we have the same friendly server and she's always working her butt off to get to everyone, she's often the only one working!! She even recognizes when I call to order AND remembers what we regularly order. The food is consistently good, the green and red curry is excellent!

This place used to be awesome but far from it now. Staff is completely unconcerned with helping anyone that isn’t already at a table and hides when they see people at the front. Had to go to the sushi counter to force someone up front. You would be better off ordering from Amazon than getting good service. Food has become average at best. The recent reviews are not a mistake. Go elsewhere, they will probably close within the year.

The restaurant itself is nice inside, but I never saw anyone working despite a few people already seated. I waited about 15 minutes at the entrance and never saw a host or staff member. This was at 1 p.m. on a Friday, so they had already been open for a while, and the place wasn’t busy—just three tables occupied. I wish I could comment on the food, but if it takes over 15 minutes just to get seated, I can only imagine how long everything else would take. This was my first visit, and honestly, I probably won’t come back unless I hear that staffing has improved.

What on earth happened to this place?! The staff all seemed irritated by customers. We ordered three rolls, but only two came out. We finished those before we even saw our server again, so we assumed that was it.....dinner over. Then suddenly the third roll shows up! 🤣
The server dropped the check so quickly we didn’t even get the chance to order dessert. 😭 At that point, we were done. On the way out, our server and another employee walked right past us without even a simple “bye” or “thanks for coming in.” Wild.
We used to love this place.
Ended up going to Cold Stone for dessert and everyone there was super friendly! 🤣
Edit: noticed another review stated their roll wasn't as advertised. SAME! Missing ingredients.

Tried to give them another chance…. We placed a to-go over 2 hrs ago and they still haven't filled it. They tried to substitute a $20 roll for a bowl of soup. This place is horrendous!!! Go to Jimmy’s or literally anywhere in Anchorage. Put Kim’s out of business and get a good sushi place in its location. …..Ignored for over 45 min. Tables sat after us were given to-go boxes and bills before we received our appetizers and soup. There is no way I would go back, regardless of how the food tastes...once we get it...appetizer was cold despite being a hot dish? This was horrendous

What an incredible experience! The food was so fresh and the environment is so wonderful. Excellent customer service. The best Pho I’ve had in Anchorage and the fresh summer rolls were amazing!

The food is nowhere good enough for the attitude you get from wait staff and lack of customer service.
The food was bland and did not taste fresh at all. The best things were probably the salad and miso soup. This is our second time eating here since the restaurant changed ownership and it still sucks. Will not be coming back.
We used to like going here when it was Shine’s restaurant. It has definitely gone severely downhill.

I had chicken pho for the first time here and it wasn’t that great. The broth was very oily and the flavor was off. I definitely won’t be having pho here but maybe I’ll try something else. So very disappointed I waisted money.

This is one of my in-laws' favorite Asian restaurants in the area. We had an early dinner here. Their menu has a wide variety of Asian foods. I ordered the General Thai Chicken extra spicy, and my husband ordered the sesame chicken. My chicken was every so lightly breaded, just perfect, and the spice level was just right. My husband's dish was good also! We definitely also enjoy coming here when in town.
