We love Pizza Man. Perfect place to go for lunch, salad bar, local beer, and really good quality pizza flavor. The staff are friendly and the prices and affordable. This is one of favorite chill places to dine in. Thank you Pizza Man. Keep it up 👏

Unfortunately, several items in our order had issues. The burgers were burnt, the fries were soggy, and the chicken strips were dry. The cheese curds were the biggest disappointment — they arrived as one large clump sitting in a pool of brown oil, with no resemblance to actual curds.
The pizza was okay, but not enough to make up for the rest of the order.
Everything had a strong taste of old fryer oil. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place, so hopefully this was just an off night.

Went in last week while in Alaska, had decent reviews so thoughtI would give it a shot. Off the main road kina out of sight, if you are not from the area use your gps. Walked in and there were a few people in front but was seated quick. Is an older place and a bit dated inside but keep an open mind. Thats the only rwason for not having a 5 star rating Had a large sausage. Damn good pizza hand tossed crust! No ready made crust here. Service was good pizza was great. If in the Anchorage area give it a shot !

Today 27 Sept 2025 mid afternoon was waiting to pick up my pizza. I saw a pizza at the pick up window area upon arriving. 7mins later I am standing there with another customer and we see a waitress (she had purple hair) go up to the pick up window look at the receipts under the food drops one of the receipts on floor picks it up then grabs a couple napkins. While holding the napkins in one hand and using the other hand lifts a slice a pizza up and then takes the hand with the napkins slides it under the slice she touched with her bare hand to carry the pizza tray to a table so she wouldn't touch the food.. SMH the other customer and I looked at each and said that defeated the purpose of the napkins.. Their food is good for the part but seeing that, it is just gross.

We were seated quickly and ordered an appetizer while waiting for the 4th person in our party. Where we were seated, the place did not appear busy but there may have been other seating areas. Wait staffer came back to get the food order after some time, 2 pizzas and a sandwich in addition to the appetizer ordered earlier. Our beverages came, no appetizer. After approx 20 minutes, we caught her going by and asked about the order. At that point we asked that the appetizer be cancelled and wanted to know how long before the rest would be ready, because we were headed to the airport for our flight. She came back from the kitchen and told us the appetizer was cancelled and the pizzas would be a few minutes. I asked about the sandwich, she flipped her order pad and went back to the kitchen. I don't know what happened at this point. No explanation, not sure if she had turned it all in. My sandwich was very good, however I feel fortunate to have gotten it. The others said the pizzas were good. The staff serving the beverage reorder to our table was attentive. Lots of thoughts about our wait staffer's make up and attire that evening, but I don't want to go there.
To all the waitresses and cooks that keep making my favorite seasonal pizza when it’s out-of-season, I am forever grateful when you hook me up! Tama, you’re awesome!

Me and my friend order on the phone for pickup. When we arrived we noticed that they had a bar so we wanted to eat inside the restaurant and have a couple of beers but the hostess did not let us take a seat, instead she told us that there was a table outside for us to eat. The table outside was completely dirty. The food was okay.

New Review “We were visiting family from Fl and got Pizza Man’s pizza to go. This restaurant has been in Eagle River since I was in H.S. at Chugiak HS. This place has been a go to place since then. I was so hungry I almost forgot to take pictures of these delicious pies. As you can see inside the boxes these pies are not greasy at all. The pies were fresh and tasted excellent.” And while your their you might as well go next door to Ice Cream Man and get you some great ice cream. This is the time if the server says would you like desserts you say yes and go get.
Picked up a late night pizza and it was cooked in a timely manner and this place has been in Eagle River for as long as I can remember and they do pizza right.
