Another great meal today. So yummy. I'm still full since 11am and it's now 10:30p. Great service always feel welcomed and like part of their little family. I feel blessed to have a spot for great sushi.

This has been my husband and I's most favorite restaurant in all of fairbanks. We have lived here for 4 years and have never had a negative experience with Ajimi. The food quality and presentation is always wonderful, fresh, and delicious. They have a miso soup that will cure the winter blues. I love the staff. They are so friendly and always welcoming. I could go on for awhile about our love for them. I definitely recommend giving them a shot!

We had an amazing experience at Ajimi Japanese Restaurant! We sat at the sushi bar and were lucky to have Chef Juan, who was great to talk with and made excellent recommendations — especially the Alaska King Roll, which was absolutely phenomenal.
We ordered the Alaska King Roll, Fairbanks Roll, Green Mussels, Combo 6, and Yellowtail Sashimi — everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Fresh fish, perfect texture, and great attention to detail in every dish.
Ajimi is definitely one of the best sushi spots in Fairbanks — great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We’ll absolutely be back! 🍣

Would have been great if you all notice customers especially tourists who looks like they have over ordered it would be helpful to inform ahead. Taste wise just ok.. weird though both myself and my sis had a tummy ache after the meal.

I really don't like sushi. My fiancé brought me here and ordered me a poke bowl that had slivers of mango and salmon in it. OMG!!! I cant stop begging to go back for more! Decently priced at $20. I had an excellent cup of green tea and a soup that made me cry, it was so good.. no GREAT! Perfect inexpensive date night. With a yummy appetizer, both our meals came to less than $50!

I used to work at this restaurant, and I personally witnessed very concerning hygiene practices. Raw chicken and beef were washed directly in the dishwashing sink, and floor cleaning rags were also washed in the same sink. These practices are extremely unsanitary and unsafe for customers. On top of that, the cooking oil is only changed once a month, which is far below acceptable standards. People should be aware of these conditions before choosing to dine at Ajimi restaurant.
