“We have been to The Greens a few times and always thrilled with the service, the food, and the atmosphere! Would recommend 100%! That said, last night was the first time we were seated in the overflow room in the back. For a fine dining experience, this space could use a little cosmetic love. There were scuff marks on the wall, wiring conduit falling from the ceiling, and no soft music or anything. A coat of paint, some nice artwork, maybe some candles and soft music, and it would be just as nice as the main dining area. Just our two cents. Still, we will return again and again, love this restaurant.”

We were taken care of by not just a good, not a great but my all time best server I have ever had. Her name is Jenna. I want to say that she is my all time best and favorite waitress in my 77 years of being. The food and ambiance were also good. But Jenna was fantastic Thank you Jenna”

“What really set this experience apart was watching how the staff took care of one of our fellow travellers, who has severe , life-threatening food allergies. Rather than treating it as an inconvenience, Executive Chef Christopher came out to our table himself to walk through the menu, ask detailed questions, and talk through exactly how each dish could be safely prepared. You could tell this wasn't a scripted allergy protocol — he was genuinely engaged, thoughtful, and clearly determined to make sure our friend could enjoy a full, delicious meal without an ounce of worry. It's rare to see that level of personal care from a chef, especially when the stakes are as serious as they were. That kind of attention says everything about the culture of a restaurant. It's easy to make a good meal; it's much harder to make every guest feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for. The food itself was excellent — fresh, well-composed, and clearly made with real craft. But it's the people, especially Executive Chef Christopher and the front-of-house team, who made this a meal we won't forget. If you're in Fairbanks, don't miss it. Highly, highly recommend.”

“They are amazing! I accidentally left my wallet at their shop, which was the northernmost point of our trip, and I didn’t notice it was missing until I arrived in Fairbanks.

When I called them, they told me I could pick it up the very next morning at a helicopter flight station in Fairbanks! I honestly thought I might never get my wallet back, and I definitely never expected to get it back so quickly!

“Good variety of beer, cider, sour beer, and even barleywine. The is the only place in Fairbanks to get a good sour. They frequently cycle new things in, so there's always something new to try. The food trucks are good too grab a bite to eat at. There's a nice outside area, and they're one of the few places left that let you bring your dog to sit outside. They even offer water bowls. We like to come here for lunch after a hike. It's usually quiet enough to bring a book to read too.”

“Ive been coming here for years and I gotta say, the new chef they’ve got calling out orders is mind blowing to watch work . The way he moves behind that fish bar, he needs to be on tv or something. I swear to god, this guy doesn’t even look at what hes doing ,hes like a robot. The chef ended up checking in on us along with some other tables. Glad to see some talent making its way to lil ole fairbanks.

Besides the staff, my friends and I had an amazing dinner here. We ordered one of the fire rolls which was a fun gimic. My mate got one of their bento combo plates, and the others shared a couple sushi rolls.

Ill definitely be back to watch this young man perform, and serve up sushi. Ill also be recommending this place to all my friends looking for a dinner and a show. Literally at one point he was shouting in different languages, talking to a customer that just walked in for an order and busting out sushi rolls without looking all at the same time. Sensational. “Great hidden gem near Chena Hot Springs. We were staying at the nearby reindeer ranch lodging and heard about this place through them. We got the white garlic and herb pizza, and were able to modify it to add chicken to one half with no problem. It was the best pizza we have ever had! It did take 30 minutes to make (as any good pizza should) but it was fun wandering around their site with all the quirky decor, or if it's too cold out, they give you a pager so you can sit in the car. The road to get there is rough in Alaskan fashion, lots of muddy potholes - but totally worth it. They only do whole pizzas but we had no issues splitting with being able to modify half.”

“I wanted to take my Granddaughter to a nice sushi restaurant since in our extended family she and I are the only sushi eaters. I would get sushi rolls and share with her from the grocery store but we had to go into Fairbanks for a dental appointment for her so we had a day of having fun. They open at 11:00 which fit my schedule so I decided to go to Kanpai. I ordered a bento box with sushi to "share." It was amazing. I commercial fish in Ketchikan and I can tell when fish was handled correctly; it was. I had her go to the counter to watch how the food was prepared and she loved it. The chef was gracious and deftly demonstrated the preparation for her. My wife doesn't eat raw fish so she got tempura instead and it was excellent. They also gave our granddaughter special training chop sticks that she got to take home! To top it off, the chef made a koala out of an orange for her dessert! Did she ever feel special. I highly recommend Kanpai for a special meal. The bubble wall kept her mesmerized and the playing grand piano added to the fine atmosphere. All the staff were exceptional.”

“I can’t say enough about this place. It helped provide entertainment, great food, and great drinks while we waited for our next Alaskan adventure during our week long visit. I have to give a very special shout-out to Denaeuh. If you get a chance, don’t leave Fairbanks without spending time with her at the bar in Pike’s Landing restaurant. She’s a genuine person with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Her drinks, food recommendations, service, and conversation were excellent! If/when we come back, we will seek out this restaurant and service with Denaeuh. Overall… I highly recommend. It’s a great place!”

“It was my first time here and I'm hooked. I got the chicken shwarma wrap with extra Tzatziki sauce on the side & hot sauce on the side. It was such an affordable, filling meal. I swear the wrap was as big as my leg. The owner is so incredibly welcoming, I already feel like a long time friend. He even let me try a freshly made Falafel with hummus on it - absolutely divine. The Falafel had great flavor, crispy on the outside & moist on the inside. The hummus has that home made, fresh taste and was a powerhouse contrast of cold to the Falafels piping hot.

“We stopped at Mein Diner with our family who is visiting from out of state, after a day of fishing, after we saw the mobile restaurant was stationed at its own spot. Having eaten there before myself at HooDoo I knew the food was good. We had the Schnitzel Sandwich, Wieners with sauerkraut, and the Käze Spätze. So much good food and the service was amazing! I am originally from The Netherlands and grew up near the German border and eating German food at our German friend’s home down the street. This brought back memories. “I love this spot x10. Tucked away gem, but if you know, you know. It’s literally the only food spot in FBX i have found that can actually deliver spice and flavor, perfectly balanced. I always ask for it “spicy, but actually spicy spicy please. Not fake spicy”, and it’s always PERFECT. I have a high tolerance, and every other spot disappoints me with their spice, but this place gets it! I even had to call him once just to compliment his cooking and spice because I’ve been craving spice here when i don’t cook myself! He’s told me before it’s spices from Thailand, which is why it’s so good. Sooooo delicious with the perfect spicy sniffles i crave on gloomy days! We always order the coconut soup with pork and the Mongolian beef with rice. Meat is always tender, rice perfumes the car of Jasmine otw home, soup has perfect coconut and lemongrass flavors.
