Fantastic! Definitely going to be a regular stop from now on. Staff? Amazing. They were friendly, fast, gave great recommendations, and all around on top of it! The food itself was unbelievable in the best way. I love that they do both a regular menu and weekly specials menu and the drink special my husband had was one of his favorites. I’m also a massive fan of them making all of their stuff same day. 100% recommend!

To be able to serve a single item (empanadas) in so many different ways that match any meal or event is a masterclass in artful taste.
You can eat there everyday, have favorite go-to flavors and yet still be constantly exploring new tastes. Bravo!
Such good flavor and OMG that sauce!! So delicious! My only wish is that they were open more days!!

GR’s Empanada House is a favorite spot for both visitors and locals. The food is amazing, enjoyable, unique, delicious, satisfying, and very good, with good portions. Popular empanadas include the cheeseburger, regular, Diablo’s, veggie, and shrimp and queso. The brisket Mac and cheese is also a favorite. The atmosphere is nice with cool decorations and a cute little outdoor eating area. Seating is small but offers a great window view. The staff, owners, and team are very nice, welcoming, polite, and treat you like family, creating positive energy. It is a must-go place and currently a favorite spot in Fairbanks.
