“What a very nice and warm pit-stop halfway up the Dalton highway. Nestled right in-between a small post office and a tire shop, they have a set menu in addition to having a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet and very reasonable prices. It was like $16 for an all you can eat breakfast with drinks. The staff was super nice and there is a large bathroom on site. Gas can be purchased outside at over a dollar a gallon cheaper than Deadhorse. Plus, the Arctic Visitor Center is almost straight across the road. That is also a nice stop.“

The food was amazing. We had monkey brain fried avocado with crab, a long time favorite and definitely had to try their version. We were pleased. The rolls are hearty and delicious, a good balance of flavors, textures and quantities. We ordered the appetizer, two rolls and katsu and were stuffed. The plates could have filled the table! You get a great quantity and quality for the price point. We will be back, for the service and the delicious food. :)“

“10-15-24: I can no longer list this as one of the top 5 biscuits and gravy places in Fairbanks area. Today's meal was not pleasant. Gravy was good but biscuits were not biscuits, but a cornbread style that was very dry. I was very disappointed.

“We had the fried chicken, miso soup, California roll, and fish eggs on rice. Good size servings, fresh and lots of pickle and wasabi. We loved it there. Everyone needs to try it. I went in the summer but imagine the winter , coming in from the vold to a steaming bowl of noodle soup.“

“Visited one night and it was the only restaurant open in downtown that had moderate pricing and it was packed. Poor waitress had to wait all the tables herself. I went the next day and the food was delicious. I had the fresh spring rolls and drunken noodles. Not spicy at all so if you like heat, you will need to ask them to add more heat.“

The vegetables in the omelet were not chopped small enough, particularly the bell pepper, and were under the eggs, with the cheese on top. I had the Bison meet loaf and it was fantastic others had the fish and chips all were delicious. Just remember you’re in Fairbanks Alaska so things are pricy but it’s worth it.“

“Food poisoned at the Boniface Taco King March 10th, 2025. I think the open sauces haven't been changed in a while, or the shrimp was bad in my burrito. I threw up multiple times throughout the night into the next morning. Laid in bed all day March 11th I haven't eaten in 24hrs. It's now March 12th, and I'm still on fluids only. This is the first time this has happened to me at one of your locations. I've eaten at other Taco King's and your food is really good, but this past experience was horrible.“

We were taken care of by not just a good, not a great but my all time best server I have ever had. Her name is Jenna.
