“Amazing experience at Marlo’s Bakery. The croissants are flaky, buttery, and perfectly baked, with well-balanced sugar that’s not overpowering. The veggie treats were incredibly delicious and fresh as well. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. One of the best bakeries in Fairbanks — highly recommended!“

“Stopped here after an unexpected overnight stay in Fairbanks. Had been suggested to try this place on the way out of town in the morning and it was wonderful. Friendly staff, patient while we sorted through the menu. Coffee and food was delightful.“

“This was a stop on our trip to the arctic. I am not going to be negative on a review for a restaurant like this one. There are many folks thankful that it is there. It has a lot to offer from a meal to gas and maybe a souvenir. Truckers appreciate the location and a chance for a break from the road.“

“First meal of my travels after an unpleasant experience at the Fairbanks airport. Was there at 730am, and the lady was so friendly and helpful. Coffee was great and cinnamon bun was to die for. Appreciate the chirpy spirit in the cold cold winter“

“Batter & Crumb is an amazing bakery. I reached out to have my wedding cake made here and had such a wonderful experience! The owner has the best customer service, she listened and was proactive in helping me create my dream cake. She did such a fantastic job and it was absolutely delicious!! 10/10“

“I called to check into the caffeine content of their decaf and the owner immediately and thoroughly answered all of my questions. It's rare to not have to wait on return calls for information about products. Fantastic customer service, and great tasting coffee!“
“Coffee is okay, it's not amazing. But I guess what do you expect from a bunch of college students. It really isn't their fault that employees don't stay for long. And because of that the coffee quality varies. As a coffee lover I would say that the coffee is too weak (not enough coffee ground or a light roast). I've probably bought several dozen cups there now. If you really care for quality in your cup of coffee then go to the coffee in the ELIF building. But other than all that, I guess you could drink it.“

“So happy I finally decided to come try this place, as a girlie who is allergic to eggs, their options for baked goods were amazing. Even though they posted about prices going up, I think the pricing was fair. This monster burrito and a yummy pumpkin bar were only $17. 10/10 this might be my new fav Saturday morning treat“
