All of the baristas are the best and make everyone feel so welcomed and the coffee is amazing. I love their specials; they are so creative with their drinks. I definitely recommend Buckos to anyone who wants good coffee in Fairbanks. They are the best!“

“Two nights ago, we passed by the place with cinnamon rolls on our mind after a long day at the hot springs. The next day, after our second and last trip of the Chena Hot Springs, we decided to stop by before having dinner and had some of the best homemade cinnamon rolls that top many other bakeries I’ve tried before! The rolls were cooked to perfection and the interesting choice of having a maple bacon roll surprisingly blends really well that I had to buy one in addition to my standard cinnamon roll! The atmosphere feels homey with relaxing music and adorable souvenirs/trinkets in addition of the wonderful food served here. It’s a lovely experience in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness that anyone passing by should enjoy and I won’t forget as I return to Atlanta within the hour! If I return to Fairbanks, I will for sure return here once again!“

“I love Lu Lu's but on occasion the coffee is burned. Meaning the espresso filter is not being properly cleaned before the next shot. A cup of coffee is expensive these days. I usually go to Little Owl Cafe because their shots are clean everytime. Most places in fairbanks burn the shots on occasion. I just had to dump $3.00 Americano. Yuk.“

“The vegan options are clearly labeled (there's a vegan section on the menu) and our group tried all 3 of the food options from it. They were all really good and filling! I got the vegan sub and added vegan cheese, all the veggies on it were great and the cheese melty. The spiced chai was a little sweet for my preference but it is vegan!“

“I’m addicted to the English muffin sandwich with egg, cheddar, and sausage or ham (best one in town). Pair that with a great latte, and there’s my lunch — nearly every day! I’m a creature of habit, but one of these days I’m going to be adventurous and try a different sandwich, most especially the BALTO. The baristas are very friendly, and the owner is very quick to respond to a small concern and to rectify it. I highly recommend this coffee stop!“

“Updated menu as of November 2023.Ordered the loaded burrito. It was loaded indeed with too much cheese. The horchata coffee special was good, but the flavor definitely overpowered the taste of coffee or not sure if there was even coffee in it. I just assumed since it said "coffee special".“

“I got an Iced Breve, and a works bagel sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was amazing, they had everything bagels, and that made it even better. The works has bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese. It was amazing, and honestly I was full until dinner. My coffee had great flavor, I mean it's an easy drink. But it's also an easy drink to make bitter, or to make with too much half&half. My only complaint is that it needed more ice. I will be going again tomorrow, for sure.“

“My go to place!! Their monthly specials are to-die for, they're extremely creative and delicious. Their food selection is by far the best out of all coffee shacks locally, imo. Their coffee is delicious. Their baristas are friendly, and not your typical bubbly young teen (which can sometimes be overwhelming). And the wait time is very reasonable and often quick.“

“My son and I just got done eating biscuits and gravy, for the very first time here and the biscuits and gravy were very peppery, and perfect temperature. It was delicious for a quick breakfast for 7.99 each, that’s great deal ,four yummy biscuits and a bowl full of gravy has small bits of sausage chunks was great portions. What was surprising is my son got a cookies and cream milkshake with whipped cream on top and it really helped through the hotness of our food to be able to stay there and eat it all, it was perfect. Just what we wanted. Without the cookies and cream milkshake drink, we have not been able to finish. No water was served and there was two young ladies working that didn’t say anything extra, very quiet and relaxing for a 8 am morning . I would give us a four out of five stars for a cute small little café, with many choices for food or drinks to choose from.“
