My one additional complaint for knocking off a star would be that I purchased two $15 gift cards and the gift cards I got were definitely not new. They’re scratched up and have been reused multiple times and I didn’t get to pick which card patterns I wanted. The patterns I was given work fine, but it would’ve been nice to get a shiny new card with my pattern of choice, instead I got some that are covered in scratches and designed more for Valentine’s Day and a birthday rather than Christmas or generic brand cards. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a gift card that has already been used before, so it feels pretty tacky gifting them to someone else when it looks like I pulled some old crap out of my wallet to regift like a lazy jerk. I got what I needed, it was just disappointing to be honest.“

“Lovely place to stop for a coffee! We came across this spot during our road trip through Alaska and were so glad we did. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and they had a huge selection of coffee drinks to choose from. Definitely worth a stop!“

I order a 16oz white mocha, half sweet, extra shot everywhere I go and backwoods tastes the best!! Most coffee shops in town are entirely too sweet. Glad they have two locations now 😀“

“My drinks are always delicious and served with genuine happiness. We’ve been frequent customers for years, and this little coffee hut has become part of so many of our family memories.
From the time I told my toddler they “don’t have kid food,” only for him to find the kid menu himself on the board, to pup treats for our golden retriever, coffee dates with my husband, 10 ice creams this summer from a gift card with my first grader, and my teen daughter insisting we try all the new specials... we’ve made so many sweet memories here.

They gave me a gift card refund with a little plus. I returned to the hut of the original review (Sadlers parking lot) I placed the same order. The food was lovely this time. See pic for evidence. And I'd have raised my stars up to 4. But today, the gal there really connected with me for a minute and really lifted me up. She absolutely did not have to do that. And for that, I give 5 stars! “Great people, great service, great tasting food and best of all if anything is wrong they will bend over backwards to fix it and make sure your experience is the best.

Vegetarian options: Egg white roasted red pepper egg bites, kale and mushroom egg bites, spinach feta and egg white wrap, and all the pastries they offer.

Kid-friendliness: The baristas are great with kids. The baristas go out of their way to help kids place their orders and will even make the kids feel special by calling out their names when their items are ready.
