“Good variety of beer, cider, sour beer, and even barleywine. The is the only place in Fairbanks to get a good sour. They frequently cycle new things in, so there's always something new to try. The food trucks are good too grab a bite to eat at. There's a nice outside area, and they're one of the few places left that let you bring your dog to sit outside. They even offer water bowls. We like to come here for lunch after a hike. It's usually quiet enough to bring a book to read too.“

“The bagel to sausage and egg ratio is always a bit off, but everything tasted good and the baristas were very bubbly and quick.

My one additional complaint for knocking off a star would be that I purchased two $15 gift cards and the gift cards I got were definitely not new. They’re scratched up and have been reused multiple times and I didn’t get to pick which card patterns I wanted. The patterns I was given work fine, but it would’ve been nice to get a shiny new card with my pattern of choice, instead I got some that are covered in scratches and designed more for Valentine’s Day and a birthday rather than Christmas or generic brand cards. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a gift card that has already been used before, so it feels pretty tacky gifting them to someone else when it looks like I pulled some old crap out of my wallet to regift like a lazy jerk. I got what I needed, it was just disappointing to be honest.“

“Food was so good! Amazing chicken hibachi dinner, we choose to seat at normal tables and order from the menu. Food came in fast, would definitely come back! The portions are big, we ordered 2 hibachi dinners but could easily share one for 2 people. We took home and had lunch the next day haha“

“Ursa Major Distillery is a small, but mighty gem! The distillery tour was fantastic, and the atmosphere and friendliness were phenomenal. Meeting Rob, the owner, and hearing his starting story while tasting his wonderful creations was a highlight. Their spirits pack a real punch, but the biggest draw for us was the incredible Scandinavian Akavit. Highly recommend this spot for a personalized experience, unique spirits, and an all-around warm welcome!“

“My drinks are always delicious and served with genuine happiness. We’ve been frequent customers for years, and this little coffee hut has become part of so many of our family memories.
From the time I told my toddler they “don’t have kid food,” only for him to find the kid menu himself on the board, to pup treats for our golden retriever, coffee dates with my husband, 10 ice creams this summer from a gift card with my first grader, and my teen daughter insisting we try all the new specials... we’ve made so many sweet memories here.

“Chinook Hotdogs is hands down one of the best food trucks in Fairbanks. The dogs are gourmet-style, loaded with creative toppings, and always cooked to perfection—my favorites are the Borealis and the Break-Up. Prices are a little higher than your average dog, but totally worth it for the quality and flavor. The owners are incredibly friendly and make the experience even better. “Visited one night and it was the only restaurant open in downtown that had moderate pricing and it was packed. Poor waitress had to wait all the tables herself. I went the next day and the food was delicious. I had the fresh spring rolls and drunken noodles. Not spicy at all so if you like heat, you will need to ask them to add more heat.“
