“DW grill is by far one of the best places to go in Fairbanks they have a great selection of food. I’ve been once for lunch and once for breakfast and I’ve been incredibly impressed both times. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere was amazing!!“

“What a very nice and warm pit-stop halfway up the Dalton highway. Nestled right in-between a small post office and a tire shop, they have a set menu in addition to having a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet and very reasonable prices. It was like $16 for an all you can eat breakfast with drinks. The staff was super nice and there is a large bathroom on site. Gas can be purchased outside at over a dollar a gallon cheaper than Deadhorse. Plus, the Arctic Visitor Center is almost straight across the road. That is also a nice stop.“

“Kitchen and tables are in the back of a bar. You enter at front of bar and go back to the food area. Not a lot of directions other than a sign outside stating to enter through the bar, but no directions once inside. Food was good but atmosphere was like a bar. Dark and uninspiring.“

“We have been to The Greens a few times and always thrilled with the service, the food, and the atmosphere! Would recommend 100%! That said, last night was the first time we were seated in the overflow room in the back. For a fine dining experience, this space could use a little cosmetic love. There were scuff marks on the wall, wiring conduit falling from the ceiling, and no soft music or anything. A coat of paint, some nice artwork, maybe some candles and soft music, and it would be just as nice as the main dining area. Just our two cents. Still, we will return again and again, love this restaurant.“

“10-15-24: I can no longer list this as one of the top 5 biscuits and gravy places in Fairbanks area. Today's meal was not pleasant. Gravy was good but biscuits were not biscuits, but a cornbread style that was very dry. I was very disappointed.

“Brewster's for another Win, family visiting from Texas just got off denali train at 8pm went to Brewster with out calling ahead all 8 of us were seated and fed delicious food - they just loved the halibut - Thanks keep up good stuff“

“Went birdwatching early in the morning and had breakfast at the Hometown Restaurant. It was great. Our waitress kept my coffee mug filled and checked on us during the meal. Ordered a supreme chicken fried steak breakfast. They add grilled mushrooms and onions over the top of the chicken fried steak for something extra. It was very good and it was more food than I could eat.“

“I can’t say enough about this place. It helped provide entertainment, great food, and great drinks while we waited for our next Alaskan adventure during our week long visit. I have to give a very special shout-out to Denaeuh. If you get a chance, don’t leave Fairbanks without spending time with her at the bar in Pike’s Landing restaurant. She’s a genuine person with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Her drinks, food recommendations, service, and conversation were excellent! If/when we come back, we will seek out this restaurant and service with Denaeuh. Overall… I highly recommend. It’s a great place!“

“When I made the reservation for dinner, I asked for a table for two in a quiet area, because my husband and I are elderly, and my husband cannot handle loud places. The host was aware of our needs and asked if we would be comfortable in an area that was actually closed to diners. It was absolutely perfect for us and very much appreciated. When we returned for breakfast, the same host recognized us and offered the same table. This awareness made all the difference to us.“

“Stopped in on passing, largely as the owner came outside and invited us to come check out his history & memorabilia. Fascinating collection of artifacts tracking the history of the town. We then opted to sample the reindeer hotdog. That is all we sampled so I.can’t really comment further on the food. Service was good and it seemed reasonably priced (compared to other venues we visited). I would definitely recommend it as a worthwhile brunch spot in downtown.“

“I honestly am shocked at the not so awesome reviews...although im not discounteing anyones experience. But I had the vegan cheesesteak and the bread was so authentic. Kinda Chewy and definitely fresh. On the cheesesteak was lettuce tomatoes onion peppers and mushrooms. Was so messy and fun to eat. Grateful to have this as an option.“

“I was in the bar last night and my order was messed up. (Nachos) As I was walking up to the bar a older gentleman with a longer grey beard and backwards hat (guessing a manager) stepped in and calmed me down and solved my issues quickly and professionally. A+ FOR THAT GUY“

“Excellent food - once it got there. NO reflection on the waitress, she was super kind and friendly and kept the coffee hot, but it took almost 25 minutes for a breakfast order for 2 people. The avocado toast was shockingly good, and the crab cake Benedict was spicy-tasty and came with a perfect poached egg.
Would go again just wouldn’t go there if I was in a hurry.“

“I walked in and right away a waitress/bartender could tell I was feeling a bit lost and worn from the day. After asking a couple questions she guided me to my seat and grabbed me a water and a menu. Bewildered and trying to handle a teenager hangry meltdown she was patient with me, took my drink order and gave me time to go over the menu some more. There were so many yummy options I wasn't sure what to chose. Another waitress/bartender came with my drink and took my order. When she brought my food to me, I asked if I could get it to go as I needed to go solve the teenager hunger crisis. (I'm from out of town) She came back with my check and a box and as I signed my receipt she boxed me up. After a long day of travel and sports games, the gals working where so kind to me and I truly appreciated that. My Rueban wasn't half bad and the beer batter fries were killer!“

“Great dining experience in Fairbanks. I loved the prime rib and felt it was some of the best in town. The fish and chips were amazing. Glad it is a regular restaurant now where you don’t feel you need to stuff yourself to get your money’s worth.“
