I walked in and right away a waitress/bartender could tell I was feeling a bit lost and worn from the day. After asking a couple questions she guided me to my seat and grabbed me a water and a menu. Nice old steakhouse. Food was good. Service was good. Dont judge a book by its cover.
The food was pretty good. Several items listed on the menu were not available.

Roundup Steakhouse & Saloon offers tasty food, with standout dishes including the Roundhouse chicken sandwich, ribeye steak, and fully loaded cheese steak. The portions are gigantic, and the drinks are good. Service is noted as friendly and efficient, with staff being polite and attentive. However, there have been issues with the prime rib being cold and undercooked. The restaurant has a bar that may seem rough and gruff on the outside, but it is regarded as the best place to eat in Fairbanks. The waitstaff is commended for their attentiveness, though some diners find the atmosphere too quiet. The battered fries and cheese steak with battered fries received positive mentions. The kitchen has been observed to be very clean, adding to the positive dining experience.
