“This place was pretty slow on a night we visited so the servers were extra attentive and kind. The early 90's jams were also an added bonus to the ambiance. I will say it is a very eclectic aesthetic. We got some hot sake, gyoza and miso with our rolls and it did not disappoint. I got the sweetheart roll and a spicy salmon hand roll and they were a wonderful serving portion, quite large to be honest, which is always nice for the price. Since we were visiting Fairbanks from Houston, we didn't have any other local place to compare it to but it's always hard to beat Houston and it's Asian influences.“

“I am trying out all the sushi restaurants in town. So far I didn't really have much good impression from others so I tried this place after reading some good reviews. I don't know.. maybe my expectation is too high. I am from a huge city where you can see excellent quality, yet affordable sushi places every corner of the street I really miss good sushi.. we ordered sushi and sashimi boat for 2 people, it looked amazing but taste wasn't as good. It's not bad but The way they age fish for sushi is just not my style.. not much flavor, not too fishy, but really not much flavor. After a few bites, I got pretty tired of it, couldn't eat more even tho there were all different kinds, it didn't taste different or flavorful.. even tho i'mm eating different kind, it tasted like same thing repeat, not satisfying for the price. People were super super friendly ,nice and polite so I feel bad that I'm leaving a negative review. My boyfriend who's from here liked it so I guess it's good for fairbanks quality. we'll come again to try other items :) cabbage salad, miso soup was great. Maybe I try rolls next time !!“

“Underrated! This is authentic as it is as Los Angeles Korean food. I had pancake 5 out 5, even better than California, California make it greasy, preset food is really good and fresh, hard to imagine since alaska don't harvest those vegetables.“

“By far the first place I've visited in the area with a real international take on sushi - like the places you find in Asia or Europe!Phenomenal flavor with a perfect mix of traditional and new school sushi techniques, incredible plate display, and the menu showcased entree names that were fun and adventurous. I had the Las Vegas and was really impressed by the quality of everything mentioned above, as well as the fact this dish is fried and it was a perfect crunch factor without tasting overly saturated in frying grease.I give it 9.5 out of 10.“

“While current times have taken the toll of picking a place to eat; I find that Aha was my favorite choice due to the events that brings us to dining out selection. Still nestled in the out cove of the beginning of Trainor Road is the fenced area of Aha Oriental Kitchen. If for nostalgia is how a Military person is greeted from the start of their career beginning with BASIC Training and through to ending contract or overseas station. But the indoor setting is of unique and tranquil home dining as I experienced in my Home Town of Queens New York; Flushing Avenue or Bayside Queens, New York. I would try to have a more dining experience with diner and when they are back with the Sushi/Sashimi menu'. And was greeted with a warm big smile from Sudahn. I am sure I misspelled the name but she was the best in all categories because she was the Host, waitress, server and cashier/cleaner. Very well spoken and a witty and charming personality. Definitely a 5 star rating for a community nestled in a growing neighborhood. Thank you for a lunch fit for Nobility in our town.“
