The Bangkok Thai is a lovely Thai eatery serving authentic comfort dishes. This cute spot is a hidden diamond in Fairbanks, right next to the farmer's market. The food is made the real Thai way with super fresh produce and meat, and every dish is fantastic. The shrimp pad thai was the best, with fresh ingredients, well balanced flavours, tofu, and shredded cabbage. The Tom Kha is the best in town. The Tom Yum is tangy and spicy, the green curry is creamy and rich, and the Pad Thai noodles are just right. The mango sticky rice is also a must. The owner is wonderful and truly cares about serving food the way it's intended. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy. Guests can take food to go or sit at picnic tables and enjoy beautiful views. This is a must try for a real taste of Thai cuisine.
