“First meal of my travels after an unpleasant experience at the Fairbanks airport. Was there at 730am, and the lady was so friendly and helpful. Coffee was great and cinnamon bun was to die for. Appreciate the chirpy spirit in the cold cold winter“

“Best coffee shop in Fairbanks hands down. I have 4 gift cards in my wallet to other places around town and never use them because backwoods coffee is perfect every single time. I order a 16oz white mocha, half sweet, extra shot everywhere I go and backwoods tastes the best!! Most coffee shops in town are entirely too sweet. Glad they have two locations now 😀“

“UPDATE: I cannot locate my original review, it wasn't good, 2 stars. Ugly sandwich pic that I have now deleted. These folks asked me to reach out. I did. We all agreed, bad sandwich. They gave me a gift card refund with a little plus. I returned to the hut of the original review (Sadlers parking lot) I placed the same order. The food was lovely this time. See pic for evidence. And I'd have raised my stars up to 4. But today, the gal there really connected with me for a minute and really lifted me up. She absolutely did not have to do that. And for that, I give 5 stars! “This coffee hut is phenomenal. We had a car full of hangry adults, some w very particular food cravings. We took too long to order, had lots of questions, and were a bit cranky, yet the people working this coffee shop were warm, friendly, so patient, and happy to help! Our food pleasantly surprised us in portion size, temperature, price, and taste! The coffee was not too sweet. It was the perfect temperature and taste. I was so pleased with Backwoods Coffee that I asked if they had a website and any stickers, shirts, or hats w their logo. They were out at the moment. We are not from Alaska, so I have only had the pleasure of being a patron of Backwoods Coffee once, but we are going back in February, and I cannot wait to have more coffee and another delicious breakfast burrito/wrap!! I hope they have some swag by the time we get there again. Overall epically awesome coffee hut! Thank you, Backwoods Coffee!! ❤️“

“They have consistently good coffees and the sandwiches are yummy too. This is our go to shop because we always get a good product, it's fast due to being well staffed (2-4girls). Plus they have a rewards card for frequent visitors 😃“

“Stopped here after an unexpected overnight stay in Fairbanks. Had been suggested to try this place on the way out of town in the morning and it was wonderful. Friendly staff, patient while we sorted through the menu. Coffee and food was delightful.“

“Loved the mango smoothie! Service is quick, not much waiting. Lady was nice. I like the part of town convenient. Drinks are expensive, but we get what we pay for, fresh hot foods too. Drive through or easy walk up. Next time I will try Red Bull kicker!“

“My wife and I were surprised to find possibly the best breakfast burrito in this little drive-thru spot in Fairbanks, Alaska. We stumbled on it because it was close to where we stayed and gave it a shot. The breakfast burritos stacked with eggs, cheese, and meat, were hot and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. Recommended for a quick and good breakfast.“
