Ordered through Uber Eats the most disgusting food I have had in Fairbanks so far and that is saying a lot since I have been here 5 months and have eaten out almost everyday. I don’t eat fast food but I bet McDonald’s has better food than this place. Eat at your own risk I Don’t see how it received some of its really good reviews. Fairbanks has some good restaurants this is not one of them. Wasted $70 had to throw it away.

Came here with a group of friends, service was excellent, polite and fast. Our waitress was amazing (didnt get her name 😞). Kind and checked on us often. Made sure our drinks were topped off. The food was delicious, came out quick and reasonably priced. Would come again.

We been going to the bakery for a long time and we absolutely love it & their food, yes they have new owners but that didn’t change anything for us. I do got to give Bill a plus 10 for everything he does that man works his but off to please his customers he’s always caring, sweet and always has a smile for us.

The Bakery Restaurant
After work this morning my brother and I decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out, and we chose The Bakery Restaurant. We were immediately greeted warmly by Bill who sat us, and immediately attended to by our server (name unknown) who gave us waters and coffees. So far so good! We placed our orders, both requesting extra crispy hashbrowns. When our server brought us our plates we both immediately pointed out that our hashbrowns were still mostly white and definitely not extra crispy and our server told us that she’d told the cook these plates weren’t done the way we’d requested but he sent it out with her anyway, and she apologized to us profusely before bringing our plates back to the cook. We could hear the cook yelling at her, telling her that’s the way hashbrowns were made and we should have ordered them deep fried if we wanted them more crispy. Our poor server took his verbal abuse without comment but we were both upset on her behalf. We waited about 15 minutes for our food to come back, and when our sever returned with our plates we both saw that the hashbrowns were browner, but they were still soggy. We decided to eat it anyway because our server had softly and somewhat sadly told us if we wanted anything crispier that the cook was going to drop it all in the deep fryer... My first bite of my chicken fried steak was so gross I wanted to spit it out. It tasted freezer burned and like the cardboard box it came in. My sourdough toast was still white and soft, my hashbrowns looked toasted but were soggy throughout, and now I was over it. I sent my plate back, this time no longer wanting anything from that cook, and we could hear him yelling about us and making additional snide remarks while being generally nasty to our poor sever. I’ll never ever go back!
The waitress here Ju was very quick and attentive to us and the food was very good I love the diner feel and price but the quality of the food was above and beyond. It was out quick and hot very happy about my experience here I will be visiting again.
