Batter and Crumb went above and beyond to create a special 40th Birthday Cake for us while travelling to Alaska. The whole staff team were wonderful to work with and made the most delicious, custom cake for us with our choice of flavour and messaging. They even surprised us with very thoughtful design touches to make this extra special! We loved our cake and are so grateful for the delicious treat. We'll be back to Fairbanks someday and this will be the first place we stop! Thank you!

I heard they would special make cakes. Had them make a large carrot cake with no nuts and raisins, with cream cheese frosting. Best carrot cake I've ever had!
I walked past this place so many times and didn’t realize because it’s a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, like a food truck, but without an engine. I would highly recommend it though. It’s a husband and wife duo and the food is amazing. Pretty much baked to order and always fresh and hot. I got a sausage roll and a cinnamon Pull apart which was straight out of the oven. They only serve hot drinks or bottled water and soda, so not tons of options there. They also don’t have any seating since they’re a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, so it will be a little bit weird if you don’t have a car to eat in. I ended up eating on a curb next to a dumpster so the atmosphere is pretty dismal. But the food is so worth it. Best breakfast I had in all of Fairbanks.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a food truck parked in a parking lot so you just roll right up to the window. However, the window is pretty high up so that might serve as a challenge.

Requested a last minute birthday cake for the same day with an absolutely amazing result. They were incredibly receptive and went out of their way to make the birthday memorable. If that wasn’t enough, the cake was gorgeous and insanely delicious. I will forever recommend this location for all bakery needs. An absolute #1 in Fairbanks.

I’ve always loved Whole Foods fruit chantilly cake for my birthday each year lol but getting that in Alaska isn’t possible. My husband surprised me with a birthday cake and whoever made this did a fantastic job. It was SO delicious and the little flower decorations were the cutest.
