Overall mid resturaunt. Service is sub par, slow and unless you're a big top, youre not getting any attention. We sat for 10+ minutes before someone came to our table or brought the highchair i requested when seated. Placed our order immediately, asked for kids food to come out ASAP. All of our food came out 30 minutes later.
Burgers were dry, pepper jelly on my husband's saved his day. Fries were cold. Never saw our server after she dropped off the food otherwise I would've just asked for fresh fries.
This place came heavily recommended, and was a major disappointment.

We have always enjoyed Brewsters but last week, halibut tacos soggy, just barely warm, fries the same. Clearly they were not hot out of the fryer but from a warming tray. Disappointed!

The table looked like it hadn't been cleaned before we sat down. The floor had toilet paper on it next to our table as well as there was still evidence of a spill that had happened before we got there. We were told that the appetizers were almost done 3 times with about 10-15 minutes between each time and they ended up coming out at the same time as the rest of the food and being borderline cold.The potato skins felt like chewing on eggshells at one point. The sirloin was somehow chewy and dry and undercooked for me ordering it at medium. The prices were relatively high ($141) for 3 people. Paying $11.50 for 1 martini and $6.50 for a pint of dark ale is a little much.

Arrived into Fairbanks late on a Saturday night and so glad this place was open late! Got our first taste of Alaskan halibut at this restaurant and it was pretty great. Easy walk to our hotel

The halibut fish and chips was so good. Tarter sauce was superb. They were very accommodating with our 13 people party. The waitress was very patient with all the kids in our party.

This place is seriously on point!!! It was one of the best experiences we have ever had, eating out here in Alaska. Not only was the food great, and on point with our edited food choices, but our waiter, Zachary, was professional, and provided exceptional service. He didn't hover over us, like we've received at other places, and still knew when we needed refills without us having to hunt him down. My family and i were actually able to have a conversation and enjoy our food without constantly being interrupted. 💯

Brewster’s is a wonderful choice for a casual meal in Fairbanks. The menu has a little something for everyone from hearty burgers and sandwiches to steaks and salads, all served in a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and from my experience service is usually friendly and efficient. It’s a great spot to grab lunch or dinner with friends or family, and they do a good job of keeping things consistent!
