We enjoyed an evening with friends at Brewster’s. The burgers were good, waffle fries greasy, and the apple walnut chicken salad was amazing and fresh.Service was very friendly and efficientThe restaurant didn’t feel clean from the minute we walked in. The ventilation wasn’t good and you could smell the food fryer. Seems that the restaurant needs a deep cleaning to feel fresh.All in all it was just ok except the salad was awesome and the service.

I've been coming here for many many years they have the best rib eye in town. Service is always wonderful restaurant is clean atmosphere is great it has a sports bar feel to it mixed with a family atmosphere

Good food. Drinks did not skimp on alcohol. Terrible service from our waitress. She disappeared and our drinks never came. Eventually she came back and took the order since she forgot what we ordered. Hostess noticed how bad things were going and stopped in to do the waitress job. Yay to her!

Really good food, can’t really go wrong with what you order. Our waitress was really understanding because we had a member of our party that was on a time crunch and she made sure to take her order first and got it out really fast. Overall really happy with the experience.
I ordered the fish and waffle fries. The fish itself was good. I did not care for the batter on the fish it tasted like pancake batter and it was very thick so I pulled the batter off and ate the fish. The waffle fries were crispy. I wish it came with a side dish like coleslaw corn relish carrot salad something to break up all the grease. Even a really good dipping sauce like spicy aoli or a choice of two different dips would have helped. My heart partner had French dip with steak fries it was good.

Decent food, very disappointing service.After being seated we waited about 20 minutes for our server to appear, okay they are understaffed and that is understandable.When he finally did come to our table, he was nice enough and took our orders...seemed like a really friendly guy. Unfortunately, that was the last we saw of him until he showed up with the bill.Someone else delivered the food, and we requested a few condiments which were never brought. Everyone at the table had empty drinks for most of the meal, and meanwhile we saw our server across the room hanging out with a couple of tables that were clearly personal friends.I might give the place another chance, but not if we had the same server. He was clearly more interested in his social life than in doing his job.I understand the staffing issues that restaurants are having, and can easily enough overlook someone who is unable to keep up due to being overloaded. However, when you can see them out and about but just not bothering with your table, it's clear that they don't care about taking care of customers.

Well done, dry burgers. Waffle fries were delicious. Server tried to talk me out of one of their signature cocktails because it contained milk. Ordered it anyway and still never got it. He must really be against it.

Very nice and cozy restaurant! The atmosphere was fun, service was great and the food was incredible! We ate at Brewster's for our first night in Fairbanks because it was recommended by many people, they did not disappoint!We both got the jalapeno burger with waffle fries, spicy and very tasty! Will definitely go back one more time before our trip comes to an end!

The only steak house we can found in Fairbanks downtown. We came at 12:30 and got seat immediately. We ordered Ribeye 12oz served with soup and mesh potato, and a Brewster’s chef salad. The soup was a bit salty. The salad came in such generous portion and plenty of ham. The steak was however not so good compared to other places, the meat doesn’t feel firm, there were not many fat strips
