The Chowder House is an excellent spot in Fairbanks for fresh and flavorful food. I ordered the salmon with rice and vegetables, and it was fantastic—perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right. The portion was generous, the veggies were fresh, and everything came together with great flavor. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Absolutely delicious! We went here as a family for dinner and it did not disappoint. The chowders were absolutely delicious, not one was bad. Daily special came with a free cup of soup and it was worth it. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

We've never had a bad meal here! Sandwiches, pasta, pot stickers, salad, coffee - it has all been well worth the price. Service is great. Sometimes the wait may be a little long but the food is very fresh so we don't mind waiting.

Great clam chowder. The bowl is a big serving. If you're a big fan of crab rolls, this place won't disappoint. It says only a quarter pound but I'd argue that because I think it's a bunch more. It was a lot of crab. Nice atmosphere. Place was clean. Service was friendly but not over the top. Prices were fair for the area and food. It's a place I'd go back.
