Visited in 2018; was told about the buffet but was generally disinterested. My party decided to wait for the buffet and it was confusingly good. Place lives up to the reviews and reputation. Hope I go back

The drive from Fairbanks to this gem is breathtaking! The cafe itself has a great American food menu with lots of options. No matter what you order, the portion size will be enormous! We tried the burgers, the T-Rex, the Truckers special, grilled cheese, chicken strips, & coffee. Every meal was awesome and the coffee hit the spot! The staff makes you feel right at home with their hospitable and friendly attitudes and demeanors. The gift shop had several apparel options to choose from, along with additional souvenir options. There were some interesting facts and some history on the back of the menu. Along the walls of the cafe, you could find lots of neat stories about events or people who have passed through. The atmosphere, while rugged, was relaxed and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

This place is like a food oasis in the middle of nowhere, and I am soooo grateful! Riding with my husband in his semi, and ended up being in this area for a few days. Possibly some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, French toast is delicious, and the fried shrimp were huge! Super friendly staff as well.

Coldfoot camp is the only stop for fuel on the Dalton Highway. They have decent food, ok coffee and restrooms. You get the basics, no frills and you will be very happy that they are there. It is a desolate highway. Coldfoot camp is your oasis.

Yeah it’s 5 stars for being almost all the way to the edge of the continent. It’s a truck stop. On a 900 mile dirt road through Alaska - it’s not a high bar to get 5 stars out there but they earned it.Simple, easy, warm and comfortable. The people are super nice the food is hot, hearty and tasty… couldn’t ask for more.

I mean it’s the only thing for like 500 miles. And the burgers are fantastic, especially when you’ve just come in from a hunt. The hotel is literally the most no frills thing I’ve ever seen. It reminded me of man camps in the oil fields in west Texas, but damn it was warm and clean! And the on-sight laundry was very helpful. Their gift shop has the Best post cards I found in all of Alaska so far. And their hoodies are super soft.

Staff were friendly and accommodating to many of our requests. The restaurant is well maintained, food is good. Particularly the desserts were delicious. Pancakes and hashbrowns are must try! In one of the days, they served Indian food at the buffet, can't ask for more!

A major stopping point for anyone driving the Dalton Highway, the food and people here are the best. I ordered a triple club sandwich and…wow. The right portion of everything, well cooked and assembled. I wish there was a Michelin star system for places like this.
The egg omelettes and tuna sandwich were good.
