Nice little place to visit. The halibut was good but when I got my fries they were kinda cold. The slaw was different but good. The service really good.

The meal was overcooked, and the server was impolite. During my initial visit, I inquired about the available fry options, and the server abruptly snatched the menu from my hands, flipped it over, and pointed to the options without providing any verbal explanation. Subsequently, she disappeared until we requested the bill. Due to the extended wait time, I approached the register, where an employee greeted me with a grunt and outstretched hand, expecting payment without any verbal communication. Given these circumstances, I do not intend to return to this establishment.

Ordered a chicken Firebird sandwich. From reading the description it sounded spicy because it had jalapeños. Well it had 3 jalapeños a fried chicken breast and a bun. No spicy sauce, lettuce or tomatoes. Extremely dry. Wasn’t what I expected at all for the price. The fries were the best part of the meal.

First time having breakfast at fenders.
The Monte Carlo sandwich was stacked full of meat and the orange jam was delicious and my wife had the special, eggs Benedict on a waffle. Delicious. The service was great and super friendly and accommodating with our energetic 2 year old. We will be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu soon!

2nd trip to Fairbanks I was brought to Fenders. It had good vibes and good food. I had the chicken fried steak, and it was flat and big. It was good, and the gravy had good flavor, but I would definitely order something different next time around. Just to switch it up. The atmosphere was good. I felt like it was 80s themed. Fenders was a good spot to eat, and I will visit again one day. I also recommend that you try it if you are in the area. Also, they had a good bar and I had a shot of tequila!! Also, this is one of those local joints. Stay blessed.

Visiting Fairbanks Alaska had a wonderful time we were looking for a good place to eat and accidentally came across fenders restraunt we were so surprised to see how awesome the service was we were served by Corey who is (a beast as well as a super handsome man says my fiancé ) he was fast accurate and food was top notch and we are from Washington . Our drink service was amazing between Gabbie (who may very well make the best Bloody Mary in America) and Marion (who is funny charming and always on task we just loved this entire staff we could not have asked for a better experience . We ended up eating at fenders 4 separate times during our visit all experiences were excellent we will most definitely reccomend and brag about fenders for a long while. Thank you fenders crew for making our Alaska experience even better then we imagined it would be . The Wayne family

OK so I have owned 5 restaurants and I am currently opening a food truck and a 6th restaurant, these reviews are something I don't do and don't take lightly , we were a party of 6 people our experience started with the waitress spilling a full glass of water on 1 woman in our party ,ice a full glass of ice and water , ok so accident, s happen, I say this happened because it's only 1 part of experience, so we ordered ,I ordered halibut fish n chips ,it was 26 dollars ,but I love halibut ,so I got it ,what came out was 3 tiny pieces of fish ,and just looking at it I said this isn't halibut,I bit into it and sure enough it's cod , now for cod it was fine but what's not fine is 3 tiny prices of cod for 26 dollars ,total fish was approx 6 ounces ,what's not fine is selling cod for halibut .!!!!! Next my wife ordered the elk and and fries ,when she cut it in half blood ran all over the plate ,it was completely raw raw raw ,so raw the internal temperature wasn't over room temperature, needless to say she didn't eat it ,it took quite a while to get her attention finally I took the plate to her and told her this is raw ,she got upset and told me that's the way it's always cooked my wife at this point said just forget cooking another o e ,we don't have another hour we must be somewhere, so another person had the french dip ,she was kind enough to give my wife half her and. Because she can't eat it anyways, my wife took 1 bite and couldn't go any further ,the roast beef was like beef Jerky , no exaggeration, so I went up to pay and after I asked to make sure my wife's was removed from check I noticed she still charged for ff,s , I said omg you still charged for the fries ,my wife didn't eat the fries they had blood soaked on them ,she ate zero from that plate sent the whole thing back, the fries remained on the check ,unbelievable to me so I payed the check and left no tip ,this place should be avoided at all cost , over priced food , God awful services, rude uncaring management, and sell cod for halibut , beware

This is my favorite place in town! The food is always great and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. They have weekly specials and soups so there is always something fun and new to try! They have a great selection of beer on tap plus specialty cocktails. They have trivia night on Wednesdays and it’s so much fun! Best place in town for breakfast!

Great fish and chips. I tried the garlic parmesan fries. They were fantastic. Normally, I have bbq sauce to dip fried in. Did not need anything.
