They call this chicken karrage. As a Japanese, I feel insulted.

I used to hate sushi- but after eating here a few times and trying different kinds, turns out I just never had good sushi! I go here exclusively for sushi, the fire steak roll is one of my favorites! Always had great, quick service.

The sashimi was awesome, the mackerel was the best I've tasted, and the black dragon roll was amazing!

Fish was horrible, not even close to fresh. In fact, it was spoiled and un edible. Sent back 3 of the four rolls we ordered. Even the rice was old and very starchy. Service was poor as well.

The taste is off, when we order for share they always wanna argue and reject the way we order, and force to ask 15% tips

I used to eat here years ago, lately I have been going to Fuji on College Rd. I was in the neighborhood and hungry, so I decided to stop at Irashai, BIG mistake. The monkey brain was soggy, the Fairbanks roll was absolutely lackluster and flavorless, the owner was rude to all the customers and shoved our food in front of us. The best thing was the lettuce on the salmon bowl, the salmon was even low quality. I am usually a generous tipper, I left no tip. In fact I wouldn’t have paid if that were an option. I will not stray from Fuji again. Facility, kitchen, bathrooms, also dirty. The music videos playing were obnoxious. The owner looked upset when I asked for pickled ginger and wasabi.

It was quite disappointing. The sushi tasted off, the chicken was dry, the raw fish wasn’t great quality. The only thing that was alright was the udon and tempura. Don’t think I would go back honestly.

Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the bento box C. $25 up from $23. In addition, I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. The Bento box had 3 slender tempura shrimp which were coated with a nice light and crispy batter. The chicken teriyaki, about 2-3 ozs, was ok; a little too cold for digging in only 5 minutes after receiving my order. The flavor borderline good but lacked intensity and was superficially coating the bland chicken. The sashimi consisted of 6 small bite sized tuna with rice wrapped in nori and we're decent. Three of the sashimi were on rice. One each of salmon, tuna, and, a white fish I couldn't tell from what. In addition, three 2"x2"X¼" slices of the same variety were included. Of all the fish, the tuna was most palatable and tasted freshest. The other fish were pasty and not very appetizing. A small garden salad with dry wilted greens accompanied the box with a teaspoon of wasabi and a little less of pickled ginger completed the box. The crab stuffed mushrooms were just terrible, a small amount of shredded imitation surimi crab mixed with some sort of crispy noodles was placed on top of completely raw mushrooms, not in any way stuffed. Overall, the place is small but looks clean and has attentive service. They lack transparency of ingredients, quality of food execution, and it could be a hit or miss depending on the day.Vegetarian options: Some appetizers and meals available for vegetarian options.
