The chicken fried steak is super good!! Servers are great, kept our coffee cups full of good coffee too. Good selection of beer and good menu! It's worth a little drive out there if you're not in the area. Take a scenic route on the way there and you'll have a lot to talk about at the table, too! That area is historic for gold mining. Lots of wildlife (including the people) to see out there! Lots of friendly folks around the area to make friends with.

An out of the way rustic place with lots of things to look at on the walls and ceilings. The food was good and the servers were friendly. The salad had lots of fresh vegetables in it. We were just visiting the area so it was fun to be in a place the locals go to, instead of a chain restaurant. I loved their slogan - Gluten Free Parking - very clever and timely!

Ivory Jack's is very Fairbanks. A large open room full of a million sports & Elvis memorabilia. There's also a long bar counter. Staff is often busy and good at their job. Food was a bit pricey but also tasty. There's a Robert Service-style poem about walrus weiner on every table, which is a nice touch.
