So much for it being open 24 hours..came there at 1 am and they had the drive thru closed off with a bunch of employees just standing around outside smoking cigarettes and vaping

This location seems to have all the excuses for why it's not open early in the morning. Yet they are in there getting paid for doing nothing. Claiming they have to many inexperienced employees to open the door or drive thru. This affects delivery drivers and customer. This causes drivers to cancel orders that affects the acceptances rate on our apps and can get us kicked off our jobs. We work hard to accept all orders so we can keep our jobs and get better paying orders. The customers don't understand why this store can't get it's act together. This is greatly inconvenientcing our military customers as 99.9% of our orders are for them. It's sad how unprofessional this store has been.

I walked in and the smell was so bad I immediately decided I'd rather go to North Pole play house. I tried to just get through it but it literally hurt my stomach breathing in whatever smell that was.

I should thanks this location of McDonalds. The drive through is so slow and the food is so meh with the prices that continue to climb that during my most recent visit for happy meals with the kids I had a major epiphany that the whole experience is absolutely not worth the time and cost investment. I had enough time to sit and ponder (45+minutes with only 6 cars ahead of me originally) to imagine how much less irritating it will be next time to stop and grab a few groceries, likely for less cost. Then take home and cook, for a faster, healthier, overall much better experience.
Thank you McDonalds, Fairbanks. This experience you have given me has allowed me to address my life in a more positive way. I will never spend another cent at your locations. If I’m really feeling lazy and must partake in a drive through there are additional options in town.

Stood at the counter ignored in a line for over 15 minutes. Finally yelled to ask for service they all saw the line of over 5 people and just ignored every one of us until I spoke up then mumbled something about having to use the kiosk. You think they would say that to some one rather than ignoring every one standing in line for a cashier.

It’s McDonald’s. It’s exactly what you expect. I’ve never had an issue with my order and everyone has always been polite. Sure, the dining area gets messy during busy hours but that’s to be expected.

Updated review.... The store post open 24 hours but apparently is open when they want. 5am.... 6am... whenever. I went through a few weeks ago and ordered a Denali Mac and it was missing a entire patty, but had the extra bun and lettuce, the fries were cold and it seems iced tea is impossible to make because they never have it. So what was once the best McDonald's in town is now just as bad as the other one. But I guess its cleaner so you dont need a vaccination to just step foot on the location, lol.

It says 24 hours but literally every time I go late at night/early in the am they are closed. It’s not that hard to update your hours to avoid wasting peoples time with a trip into town for nothing. Also the line is always very slow.
Came for dinner and I understand dinner rush is a thing and didn’t expect a fast experience but it took us an hour just to get through the line as well as being skipped in the drive thru 5 times. As my boyfriend and I got to the window the food wasn’t ready but yet all the workers are having fun and laughing and more focused on talking to themselves. They finally told us to go park in front since the food wasn’t done. My boyfriend went in to complain but couldn’t since there was no one at register and they were all in the back laughing together. This was the most unorganized and immature service I have ever seen and I have food come faster from in n out.

I didn’t know McDonald’s was a sit down restaurant ordered an ice cream cone and a McFlurry and it took 30mins. Fries always come out cold. The slowest McDonald’s ever next time I want chicken nuggets I’ll go buy eggs from the store and produce them into my own chickens to make nuggets and by the time I’m done with that one car will move in line. Next time I have to file my taxes I’ll go to the McDonalds drive through because when I finish the return I might have the chance to get a Big Mac. I think I could push out food faster with my eyes closed and no hands or feet.
