Nothing better than steam table breakfasts.
There is very little consideration for anybody with dietary restrictions

Expected our drinks before the meal, only to receive one well into the meal and and one totally forgotten! Meals were good but service could have been better! Went next door to get the forgotten drink.

As with most breakfast buffets at hotels of this level the experience, food, and service was just okay...and quite expensive for the quality of what you get. There are also no a-la-carte options so you either can dine here for breakfast (expensive) or utilize the Grab and Go (no vegetarian options and nothing is made to order.)
So we opted to dine in as that was the only option for us. (Disappointing that the breakfast burrito at the Grab and Go had sausage in it and they couldn't make one without.)
The coffee was good.
They had a display of nice-looking tea bags at the grab-and-go just a few feet from where we were seated, clearly serviced by the same kitchen...but they only offered Black Lipton for table service...Our server was a bit "scoldy" in communicating that to us when we pointed out the other teas available in the nearby separated area of the dining room for grab-and-go. Seriously, Westmark, you can't make the nicer tea bags available in the dining room where we're already paying quite a bit more to sit? Are you on Lipton's payroll?
I had berries, eggs and biscuits...the biscuit was ok. The berries and eggs were good.
Our server, besides being really unsympathetic to our tea cause, seemed awfully unhappy to be there. Friendly reminder, Westmark staff...your job actually exists to service your customers...might as well throw in making it a good experience for them.
$23. Hurrah!

Ordered the fish and chips. Yuck. Batter was too thick and overcooked, greasy. Service was fine. My water glass was dirty. Not impressed.

The food is mediocre and way overpriced for the quality and portions. The food was very dry and the flavor, underwhelming. I don't recommend eating here.

Made the mistake of dining for breakfast. The best of the whole experience was we were seated promptly. Didn’t see a server, so after 10 min went to get some water, told to sit down and it would be brought to the table. One glass arrived but not second. Had to ask twice for cup of Tea. Plenty of staff standing around chatting, couldn’t see many actually working. Partner was not offered coffee refill. Food was just above warm and not a great selection of hot food. Pastry and fruit better. Mentioned to the hostess on the way out but didn’t really seem to matter.
For a hotel that expects multiple buses from cruise ships, they were very I'll prepared for the volume of people. Making a reservation didn't matter, you were lucky if it was within 60-90 minutes of the set time. Food was decent but overpriced, but so is everything in Alaska. I hope this restaurant picks up their game.

Great buffet breakfast, plenty of choices. Reindeer sausage is on the menu, really tasty. They seat you. Located inside the Westmark hotel. We had super good service. The waitress(SHOUT OUT) was very informative, a wealth of info. She was glad to see us when said we were from Maryland. She was born in Maryland.
