Absolute worst customer service tonight. My fiance and I ordered dinner and when we got to the window. The lady that was at the window took her sweet time doing everything. She came to the window and took our card for payment and didn’t tell us how much it was. She also had grabbed the wrong size drink for my fiance. When we mentioned he wanted a large she had said oh I can give you 2 smalls that’s basically a large. We asked her if she could just get a L because that’s what we asked for and we didn’t want 3 drink containers. She still even hesitated but said yeah she could do it. She took the cup back dumped the drink in the tray and grabbed a big cup and poured the ice that was in the small cup and didn’t even add more ice. When she handed us the drink my fiance mentioned she didn’t have to dump the drink that she could’ve just added it to the drink and she said she did when she didn’t. We watched her dumped the drink and keep the ice. After that she stood there and we had to ask forr our food. She had the absolute worst attitude on her face and no smile and was so unpleasant and rude. Worst experience ever and panda ain’t that good

Typically order takeout from the lobby. When the lobby is open, it’s fine. But they’ve recently closed it because of “staffing shortages”. I regularly have seen 6+ people working there, so I think it’s an excuse to cut costs. Maybe I’m wrong. But anyway the drive through always takes an excessive amount of time, even if there’s just a couple cars. Open up the lobby.

Orange Chicken is a must

We have a Friday night tradition of dinner out and panda has always been a good back up. However, here lately say the last month or so the quality has taken a nose dive. Not sure if it’s new management or if it’s just burned out chefs but the chicken is rubbery and tasting more vinegary than flavorful.

Extremely clean every time , staff always busy cooking serving or cleaning. So friendly. Food always consistent. Never out of anything. Fairbanks struggles with chains . But someone’s doing something right here .

I had a terrible and deeply disappointing experience at the Panda Express located at 523 Harold Bentley, Fairbanks, AK. I placed an online order for a string bean chicken chow mein bowl and a bigger plate with three items: chow mein, orange chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, and one other item I forgot. The system allowed me to check out smoothly, even though I missed selecting a third item, and when I arrived, the staff didn’t raise any concerns. At the drive-thru window, the staff appeared confused—they couldn’t find my order, and at one point, I saw an employee take my item away and then bring it back after some time. I still don’t know if my original items were swapped or altered during that moment. When I opened my order, it was completely wrong. Instead of the string bean chicken chow mein bowl, I received an orange chicken bowl. For the bigger plate, I only received chow mein and orange chicken, and it wasn’t even a bigger plate as I paid for—it was a smaller, regular-sized portion! In other words, I received one item: orange chicken. I felt utterly ripped off. To make it even worse, the outside of the containers was labeled with the correct descriptions of my order, but the food inside was completely different. This is incredibly deceptive. Adding insult to injury, I arrived at 9:30 PM, well before their stated closing time of 10 PM, only to find the doors locked! I had to order a drive-thru before 10:30 pm. It’s clear that this location not only fails in customer service but also engages in dishonest practices, whether it’s lying about food items, delivering incorrect orders, or closing earlier than advertised hours. This experience was an unacceptable breach of trust and service quality. The next day, I spoke to the store manager about the situation where they made the wrong food for my order. The manager promptly reordered my food.

Waited fo 20 min in drive through line they close at 10:30 we finally get to the window we get there and she tells me they are out of food this was at 10:15 then I had to sit in the line for people to get their food to get out I will never go back. I did go back to finally sit in drive through for 45 min at 7:30 doors were locked people couldn’t get in and again they close at 10:3o. I use to go to Panda Express in McMinnville and the food and service was great this one isn’t going to last alaska is funny that way they will ban them soon I’d put money in it My grandson ordered beef broccoli and when I tried to order a second plate with it I was told they were out

Worst place this is the second time my husband and I tried there food and we been disappointed both times our food was over cooked the orange chicken was very hard and burnt never again will we go back

Building was clean. Employees where kind. Food was not good orange chicken was tough, chow mein was hard and cold, fried rice was half seasoned. Props to the honey walnut shrimp and broccoli (with a little bit of) beef.
