Food is great, beer is cold, nice atmosphere

Dinner was delicious. Meatball sub with sweet potato fries and IPA. The wife had the chicken sandwich. Both were a nice size portion and very delicious.

Large group for breakfast. The ladies all enjoyed mimosas, one had the blue berry mosco mule... they all loved the drinks.
We had a multitude of food, biscuits and gravy, crab eggs Benny, steak tacos, cheesy grits, Philly omelet.
There was very little leftovers after eating, and all empty plates. Super yummy.
Highly recommended.
Eat, drink then walk a few blocks to shopping.

Shrimp & grits! Conveniently located on the waterfront, we enjoyed a relaxing family dinner on the patio. We then went back the next morning for breakfast - more variations of Eggs Benedict than I have ever seen, and the avocado toast was pretty great!

Food was great. We had the Philly cheesesteak wrap, dunker and meatball sub. They were out of the chicken pot pie.

Went with a group of 4 on a Monday afternoon, a little busy but not too bad. We didn’t see our waitress for 15 minutes, but chalked it up to being shortstaffed. We waited another 10 minutes, and saw two separate tables leave before actually dining. One table in particular was talking about having been there for over 45 minutes with no food. Our table was dirty and peeling, and my cup kept sticking to the surface. Gross.
We finally ordered, and ended up waiting another 40 minutes. Food came out, and it was subpar. The bruschetta appetizer was ice cold, the cheese was hard, and the vingerette on top was bitter. Paid $17.49 for an overcooked cheeseburger, and it didn’t even come with fries! My friends house salad had a long piece of hair in it. My other friend had a tuna melt that looked rough, and we also ordered the Cajun soup which felt a bit random ingredient-wise, and had a layer of grease on top.
Overall, pretty displeased. We ended up at the restaurant for almost two hours, and left hungry. We didn’t bother complaining to the waitress, because she rolled her eyes at other guests who were concerned about the wait times and visibly ignored them. Saltys is a 0/10, don’t recommend if you’re a local trying to get some grub.

Food and service were decent. Nothing spectacular. Place is dirty, tables are sticky and smells of mildew.

I'd love to review the food but unfortunately we sat there for over 15 minutes, ignored by our server-- who we watched get reminded we were there twice by the host-- so by the time it was time to take our order breakfast was no longer being served. Nothing about this experience will make us come back.

I called from out of town and the lady (I’m assuming bar manager) was so kind in assisting with my odd request, even while she had a full bar. I am incredibly grateful she took my call. Cheers

Every time I come to town I try to order the “recommended” meatball sub, and every time they never have buns for it.

Would love to give a food review but after standing at the host stand for 15 minutes without being attended to get sat, my party left. Beware.

When we came in there was no host however the sign said to wait to be seated. We waited for about 10-15 min till young man showed up and took us to the table next to coffee station. It took some time to waitress come to us and even longer to get us coffee. We ordered their famous meatballs sandwiches. The bun was huge and meatballs had lots of bread in it also. It wasn’t bad , just too much bread overall. This place is really nothing special and staff look unhappy.

Been here 2 times. 1 breakfast on the weekend and 1 lunch during the week.
Good food, but the slowest service ever!!! I can’t emphasize how slow their service is. Plan on waiting 1 hour minimum from the time you walk in the door until you have food at your table. And they most likely will not even bring everything you ordered. But the people working there are very nice.

To put it eloquently, this place is a hole. Dirty, nasty, and they are the opposite of a good time. We are vacationing and Saltys was highly recommended. We waited almost 1/2 hr to see a waitstaff. She was tripping on something and babbled incoherently. We left before ordering . I told the group I was with to hurry up and get out of here as that waitress was yelling and berating the next table. She seems unstable and with addiction issues. Management dropped the ball. Dirty/dingy facilities. We were looking for a fun time at dinner and Salties is anything but.
I gave Saltys 3 stars due to their location. We were able to walk to several fine restaurants and bars.
You won’t need to Uber to a restraunt from Saltys , you can walk! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
