Souvlaki is similar to gyro, but to me is even better. You won't regret trying this. I come as often as I can when they are open over summer.

A good place for a little somethin' to eat while you're out and about, checking out Pioneer Park. It's even worth a special trip for takeout if you're looking for a basic, authentic, no frills gyro. Their baklava's quite good, too.

Very good atmosphere, inside Pioneer Park, with outside tables, since the place is quite small. The prices are good and I felt that the food was well prepared. The only thing I didn't like was the Taco Salad, which wasn't worth the price. Otherwise I thought it was very good. I would eat again

A great place to get a meal. Friendly service and tasty meals. The Souvlaki with cucumber sauce is wonderful. A must to try if you haven't eaten one before.

The falafel was straight up inedible. Rock hard dry, most likely from frozen. The worst I've ever had by a large margin. Too much veggie relish/salad it made the pita soggy and slimy.

I first had a Solvaki in the early 70's as a child and have been a supporter ever since. During the summers I would ride my bike at least once a week and get one with the money I earned. But today the first time I had a chance in a couple of years I stopped by and ordered 3 of them. Not only did they get it wrong on how I ordered it " no tomatoes " the meat was bland and the pita wasn't the thin crispy one that I came to expect. What a disappointment to a beloved Fairbanks stop.
Great place in the

It was OK. The cucumber sauce needed salt. The souvlaki would have been much better if the tomatoes had been diced instead of irregular slices thrown on top, making it unwieldy to eat. I could’ve used some lettuce. They sold hummus, but not anything to use to dip it out, except for maybe a pita bread. Using the microwave to warm up meat was unimpressive. however, they did warm up the pizza on the grill.

We had the signature Souvlaki and it was great!! Great food with super reasonable price, would definitely come back!
Pitaco was Yummy and different! You really need to toss aside your idea of how taco meat tastes, this is a entire new flavor profile! ( also, my kids LOVE the hotdogs!)
This is one of my summer go to places. I introduced my Granddaughter to it this year and we loved it.
Nice location in pioneer park. The food wasnt good though. We ordered the falafel wrap (too dry) and the spinach pastry. Both dishes could use a sauce/hummus to make them edible.
Delicious, large portion for a good price. Staff was friendly and helpful.
