A family favorite. Been going for years and have yet to have a bad meal/experience. My go to is the Adobada Tacos and Chili Verde Tacos on the A La Cart.

First off, the burrito was too small, when hearing the azteca grande burrito was the “largest burrito in Alaska” I couldn’t help but be excited and, frankly, I was disappointed. Additionally the menu promised free fried ice cream if the burrito was finished. After effortlessly demolishing the food challenge the ice cream never came.
Great food and even better mango margaritas!

I've been eating here for many years. The food fills me up and gives me a boost of energy to do all of my running around that I have to do around town. I love the staff too. I always bring my family and friends here as well.

Not your normal Mexican place. You order at the counter then go have a seat. Drinks and silverware are self serve. Food was not real warm, no chips and salsa. This should really be just a take out place, the food is average at best. Maybe the place connected to them is better.

The iced tea tastes odd. Almost as if it's made from unfiltered well water. The red salsa was bland, a slight step above ketchup however, the roasted red pepper salsa had a great flavor although mildly spicy.
I ordered the "Hungry Man" which comes with a chile rellano and a tamale. About ten minutes after my order I was told that they were out of Chile rellano and if I wanted to sub something else. I did not.
Ended up ordering the burrito grande and it was big as described. A mixture of shredded chicken, ground beef, refried beans and rice rolled into a big tortilla and covered with a less than exciting ranchero sauce which tastes a lot like the sauce from a can of pork and beans. A dab of sour cream and guacamole covered one end of the burrito. Would have liked the filling to be hotter.
Had to ask for a refill on my iced tea so minus a star on service. The atmosphere was missing music which is too bad because the inside is really nice.
All in all not a terrible Mexican restaurant for Fairbanks, but could be better. I'm going to come back for the chile rellano and update this review when I do.
