Epically awesome corned beef hash, no nonsense, half pound of corned beef and potatoes. Unlike anything I've ever had. And oh by the way , homemade biscuits and gravy was great.

I've never had corned beef hash like this before. Breakfast is all day and service is excellent. Portions are pretty large.

Usually the food is good but for some reason it was not when we went. Out of 4 meals only the pot roast dinner was good. Shame cause I took someone there that had never been and he was truly disappointed.

Food is nice but the serving is really huge so be careful on how much you are ordering. Cookies look so tempting I had to get some on the way out. Love the service fantastic, very attentive and well taken care off by the folks.

I haven't visited the Cookie Jar restaurant for awhile. I was excited when we were taking a trip to Fairbanks. I ordered a breakfast of bacon eggs and a waffle. I couldn't believe how tough the waffle and the bacon was, it about pulled my teeth out. I've never had to saw a waffle with a knife just a cut a small piece. My friend ordered a calzone. It was small and disappointing for her too. Maybe today was a bad day? But we were very disappointed 😞

Never had a prime rib fried steak, but man was it tasty!! I will 100% be returning because there is soo much to try. If you're passing through Fairbanks or just visiting, this is a must try before you leave.

Always happy with the food. Large quantities. Awesomely friendly staff, cleanliness. A little tight. But; please get rid of styrofoam to-go containers!!! Get on board with being environmentally conscientious!

We visited fairbanks from Dallas, TX and were in need of a wholesome breakfast. The Cookie Jar was the perfect spot. Great service, real wholesome food, and the vibe was giving grandma's house. You have to grab a cookie or 7.

Great food but lately strange pricing. I went today and just be aware they will charge you full price if you don't want something removed from a menu item. For example I ordered a country breakfast and only wanted the eggs and bacon. I asked about just having those items and none of the sides. When it came time to paythe bill I was charged the full amount when I received half the food. I have dined here for many years and this was never the case before. So be aware before ordering.
