Vegetarian options severely limited and the one on offer was quite bland and uninspiring.
While the food was pricey, the quality was better than any meal we had while visiting Fairbanks. We had a great server who was enthusiastic and fun. Sorry I canât remember her name but she said she was originally from Texas. This was the best meal we had all week.
Excellent selection of main courses, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambiance of this restaurant really gives you a genuine Old Alaskan Experience with the many artifacts and decoration throughout the restaurant. We had reservations for 7:30 pm but the staff was able to get us seated at 7:00 pm. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an excellent meal with genuine Alaskan Atmosphere while you dine.
The Pump House was such a treat. We were so happy to find this excellent place to eat! The place is very nice inside and my blackened halibut was the best!
Great food and service.
The blackened halibut was artfully presented. The fish was cooked perfectly with no aftertaste. The reports about the chowder were not exaggerated, it was exceptional. The peanut butter pie was a bit too cold but also a standout presentation.
This dining experience was NOT fine dining. Disappointing! The seafood chowder was good! I ordered the risotto which was greasy and disgusting⦠floating in butter. Requested additional plate to separate butter from risotto but the overwhelming greasy butter flavor still killed the dish! The server took to manager Ken which we witnessed BUT Ken never cared enough to approach our table. Fine dining??? I donât think so! Milan, our server, was so apologetic. It wasnât his fault but our $30 for Uber round trip, bottle of $50 wine (they didnât have the one we requested ) and cups of soup and one crab cake dinner was hardly a special âonly dinner out in Fairbanksâ date night. Find a restaurant that appreciates your business ! Everyone in Alaska is so kind, welcoming, accommodating but not this restaurant!
This historic restaurant staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and efficient. Atmosphere rustic and full of history. Food extreme good!
Wife and I have visited Seattle, Anchorage, Denali and Fairbanks in last 10 days. This was the best meal we have had. My filet was excellent and my wife loved her seafood dish. We highly recommend.
Service was good except the waiter was not familiar with the wine and brought a red instead of the requested white Zinfandel. He seemed confused and brought the red 2 times but eventually got it right. Otherwise, it was a great experience and our food was good. We sat inside on a beautiful day in Fairbanks. If we did it again, I would request a table outside. It was a beautiful view in a historic site.
Good for for a reasonable price. The back patio has a great view of the river and had entertainment on the night we were there. Very enjoyable experience!
Hadnât seen my husband in over a month, awesome date spot!
Super slow service.
I had halibut that was over cooked, dry. The baileys cheesecake was overbaked, dry, no flavor and burnt on the top. Bought a piece for a friend and she said the same thing. Very disappointing .
Without Mrs Anita Crypto Fx , I'd be lost. I wish I had thought of it sooner. And she assisted me in locating a very trustworthy platform where I received $30,000 after my initial investment of $2000 with them, so I recommend that everyone should try it out.
