Turtle cut, bland and tough. Just fed all but 3 bites to my dogs- they loved it. Second star was for the great service.Edit - Medium

If you eat prime rib, this is the place to go. If you don’t eat prime rib it’s expensive and pointless. We had especially appalling service. Our server forgot us halfway through dealing with the check. Repeated requests to the bus staff did no good. Required a member of our party getting up and finding the hostess to actually get our checks dealt with. And since we were a group of 12, the gratuity was forced onto our check. Very irritating. That said, the meat eaters were happy with their food and the ambience of the place is fascinating. Especially if you’re a fan of turtles. It’s an Alaskan original for sure! Just don’t go in a big group.

We were in Fairbanks for a Gymnastics competition and decided we wanted some Steak for dinner. Found this little hole in the wall gem on Google. Wow!!!! Everything was fantastic. My wife and I both had the Foxy cut, Rare and Medium well respectfully. Both cuts just melted in your mouth. The portion size, the flavor, the tenderness. Everything was perfect. The children both had the Salad bar and split chicken fingers. Even that portion size was huge. And let's not forget the Escargot. Very nicely sized with a wonderful garlic, butter ratio with some lemon on top. I would highly recommend finding this place if you're in Fairbanks.

My steak was well done but was still theConsistency of a raw steak as if the steak was being boiled and microwaved. Someone I went with ordered an old fashioned and it had just the inside of a Mandarin instead of the peel. The cheesy potato’s weren’t horrible however none of the food was seasoned at all and was extremely bland. Way too expensive for the poor quality of the food. Payed 130 dollars for a lobster tail that was bland. Better off getting your own steak and cooking it at home. But at least our waiter was very nice.

1. Super delicious American steak restaurant, super big pieces2. Order a main course and you’ll get a salad buffet for everyone.3. King crab legs are also delicious. The restaurant will help cut them first.4. The five of us ordered 3 meals (steak, combo, fried shrimp), fried fish, snails, and 2 extra salads, which cost about more than 300 US dollars. It’s too much to finish, so you can take it out5. The salad bar is very diverse and even has strawberries!6. The roads are icy in winter, so drive carefully.

The salad buffet is very diverse and delicious, but the steak is salty and gluteny, but it is really a big piece...The exterior layout is all based on the turtle ? theme, which is a very special style.

My husband had the prime rib foxy cut taste like cheap ausju, and the baked potato was under cooked bacon bits not bacon, the only good thing was the drink. I had the halibut dinner for$ 35 when i could have gotten the appetizer for 20. For fine dining why would you wear tshirts.

I had the pleasure of dining here Christmas week 2023 on a work visit in Alaska from Canada. To start with, the salad bar was packed with an impressive array of veggies, toppings and dressings to make one’s mouth water. I tried escargot for the first time at the behest of a work colleague but as it turned out, I didn’t really like it. Next, I had their Lobster Combo, a beautiful meaty and mouth watering lobster tail with a medium rare prime rib. I loved every bite of this and I want to call this my new favourite restaurant. The serving was quite generous and in the end I had to take some back to my hotel. All said and done with desert, I loved the experience but my only regret was not asking what the Australian lobster market price of the day was. The check turned out to be upward of $220 for 2 people before tip which I still think was well worth the experience. I will dine here each time I’m in Fairbanks, and as a matter of fact I will be reliving this experience this week as I happen to be in town all week again for work.

I've eaten here numerous times over the years. It's one of our go-to restaurants whenever we're in Fairbanks and it's always been very good food with a classic Alaskan atmosphere. They have a relatively simple menu but it's executed to perfection.

We came here with our Alaskan tour guide, as this place is THE local spot. The interior is neatly decorated, kind of frozen in time as a retro dinner (they have been around since the 1950s). The service was great! I really appreciate our waitress, who canceled an appetizer order I requested super speedily for me, and served our large group all our dishes and desserts attentively. I could see she was a little overwhelmed, so I really appreciate her efforts!Their salad bar had a great selection of ingredients, sauces and toppings, all which were fresh! I ordered their smallest prime rib cut, the Foxy Cut, which is 12oz! It was absolutely delicious!! My first prime rib, and it was perfectly seasoned, cooked a perfect medium rare, and was super tender. I had a baked potato as my side, which also hit the spot. I definitely had leftovers, and took those back to my lodge. Our server then brought out the dessert plate, and OMG were we ever spoiled for choice! I got the Snickersbar Pie, which was so luscious and chocolatey! This place is great spot to dine amongst the locals! I’d love to try their Alaskan King Crab legs next time I go (I’m just not sure how I’d finish them all on my own, my fiancé will have to help me!), as well as their crème brûlée. I definitely recommend this place for large, hearty and scrumptious Alaskan food!Parking: This restaurant has their own free parking lot. However, it can get very full around dinner time, despite its size!

Went there twice. First time the service was rushed. Unable to get a second glass of wine. Poor service by the wait staff. Second attempt as we figured that maybe it wasn’t a good night there, the level Of service was again disappointing. Entree was brought as we were eating our salad. Again unable to get a second drink. Service was rushed although it was not that busy. We have given this establishment two chances, both were subpar. I have no Problem spending money on a good meal And good service. The Turtle Club will never see any of my money again as there are better places in the Fairbanks area to eat and have a couple glasses of wine with my meal Without being rushed and ignored. Not recommended at all.

To summarize my experience, it was okay at best.- The prime rib fell short of expectations, lacking in flavor and tenderness.- The halibut chunks seemed to lack freshness, giving the impression of frozen food.- The complimentary bread served was notably cold.On the other hand, the fried mozzarella was alright. However, a highlight of the meal was the salad bar, which I found to be quite enjoyable and refreshing.

Great food, great service, amazing salad bar and phenomenal dessert. Had the raspberry doughnut cheesecake and it was delicious, left us wanting more. Prime rib was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Options at the salad bar were fresh and plentiful. Will definitely be going back. Ambiance is very cozy and welcoming.

Steamed Prime Rib???? I don't understand why an overrated restaurant will specialized in Prime Rib, if they do not have a grill? Even if it was cooked in the oven, at least they can do a lil love into it to make it look like a $39.00 (Foxy Cut) and a $42.00 (Turtle Cut), meal. Calamri was a blah, and my favorite creme brulle taste like a filling for a cream cheese, not worth $108. Fot my birthday meal I'm so disappointed, I did checke the salad bar, that's there's alfalfa all over on top of the other toppings, (obviously nobody checks the salad bar) So overrated, so pricey. Not worth it
