It's amazing. Love this place and the same owner that's been there for almost 42 years. Keep up the great work.❤

Absolutely disgusting. Manicotti was sitting in a dish of water and sauce. NY steak was overdone and actually burnt, seafood plate looked like it was boiled and tastelessness.

Absolutely GREAT! 10+/10 Amazing food, perfect drinks, fair prices! Also had fried artichokes & clams that were to die for. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about The Vallata. Great atmosphere, friendly service, excellent cocktails, delicious food. We started off our evening with cocktails at the bar. Tommy is an old-school bartender, not his first rodeo. Mixes cocktails with smooth efficiency, good technique, classy service. With the low lighting and rat pack music in the background, it feels like I’m in a classic Italian basement restaurant in Greenwich Village. Dinner service was not rushed, we let them know we were enjoying the evening and the server showed up at the appropriate times. Shrimp cocktail had fresh made cocktail sauce, not out of a jar. Same with the italian dressing on the salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and well appointed. I had the veal cutlet parmigiana “alla Vallata” (cutlet with slice of eggplant on top, breaded and fried). Cooked absolutely perfect. Not soggy, seasoned to perfection. Served with spaghetti on the side, and the red sauce was delicious. The type of sauce I try to make at home, but just…can’t…seem...to get it like they do at fine restaurants. My wife had the chicken picatta. This is her go-to dish at Italian restaurants, and this one did not disappoint. It looked fabulous, and she told me it was one of the best she has ever had. The Vallata is the jewel of the Goldstream Valley.

Just had a company party and a going-away event for staff at the end of the season absolutely amazing service food compliments to the Vallarta for keeping it together with all the craziness in the food and beverage business. The service was amazing 1-gal handle the party of 10 with no mistakes. And everything come out of the kitchen and a quick and efficient manner

Our dinner started out perfectly fine, we were immediately seated for our 6:00 reservation, drink orders taken and drinks delivered quickly. We ordered breaded artichoke hearts and clams arrenegata, these appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. Many items within their menu were crossed out, but when we were ready to order our server then told us of multiple ingredients they were out of. Two of our party had to change their orders because of this. Firstly, the side salads were tiny with on tomato and one carrot stick. Two people in our party went with New York steaks, ordered medium rare. They came out very well done. Another ordered the scaloppine with fresh mushrooms. It had zero flavor, had a sour taste and canned mushrooms were definitely used. I tried two bites and it was disgusting. The side of vegetables we all received were frozen bag vegetables. I ordered the filet and it was just ok, lacked flavor but was at least cooked properly at medium rare. I suggested those in our party send their food back but they didn't want to be, "those people". None of us were satisfied with the food and all agreed we wouldn't be back. It's been three years since I'd been there but food has always been good in the past. I ignored more recent negative reviews and we thought we'd try it and I completely regret it.

Absolutely some of the worst food I've ever had... And that says a lot. When our party of 5 had their almost full plates removed and didnt want it to go you think they might have asked if everything was ok... Inedible, old, really disappointing.

Great place. Not sure if they don't use enough fresh ingredients or what but the food is almost great. Atmosphere and service are 5*

This establishment came highly recommended by numerous people... what a disappointment. We arrived an hour early for our reservation, the restaurant was almost empty and the hostess wasn't sure if "our" table was ready. My husband ordered chicken parm and the sauce was absolutely burnt. I ordered seafood saute and it was tasteless... Server advised us they were out of crab legs and I joked with him about running out of crab legs in Alaska was odd... he became defensive and advised he doesn't run the place. We were incredibly disappointed
