Pizza bus is a good name! It’s off the beaten path but it was by far the best pizza I’ve had in Alaska. They’re doing it right. Chicago deep dish and a Gawain is what we ordered and I was very pleased. Played some mini golf while we waited for our food. It was a great time with greater food! Definitely going back!

Took a good amount of time to get to the bus, just to be denied food 40 minutes before closing. If you’re hungry I would recommend two rivers because you won’t be sent away for being 40 minutes prior to closing time.
Definitely a hidden gem. Probably the best pizza in the Fairbanks area. It’s a bit of a long drive from town, but I’ll be back.
This quirky establishment run by a local family out of a bus serves the widest variety of pizza styles I have ever seen in Alaska. If you can think of a topping combination and style, they will make it happen. For our first visit, we ordered a Detroit style pizza and the garlic bread sticks. We usually prefer a thinner crust pizza, but after recommendations to try one of the unique style offerings, we went for something new and really enjoyed it. The bread sticks were good, but not the star of the show and could be skipped for future orders. It is a little bit of a commute for us, but well worth the drive and we hope to return soon.
Some lower reviews here fault the owners for wait times and lack of service, but we received fantastic response times and communication from the owners. It is a small, family-run pizza place and they will make a typical order in under an hour, usually around 40 minutes. Although they close at 8PM, it would be unfair to expect them to consistently accept orders past 7:00-7:30PM. We were end-of-day customers and they treated us with kindness and incredible food, so I do believe that complaints regarding wait times and service are likely not the fault of the business.

Best pizza in Fairbanks, hands down, no question about it, and the selection! Wow! Working my way through the menu, trying all of the different recipes is great. Their pies are always hot, loaded with toppings and cheese, sauce and love. Ingredients are fresh and tasty.
Their wings are juicy, not dry, with plenty of meat on the bones, plenty of sauce. Much better than most places in Fairbanks, fair prices as well. They won't disappoint you.
The malts, OMG. They're so tasty, best malt I've ever had, I would highly recommend the raspberry.
All in all, 10/10 place to eat, I'm going back tonight to try their burger, poutine, and a milkshake. Very excited :)

I really liked their food. We got a couple pizzas, hot dogs and hot cocoa. Everything was delicious and in huge proportions. It was wholesome to interact with the couple running a cozy little food truck in the middle of nowhere and they were very welcoming to accept a huge order from our hungry selves right before their closing time!

Definitely get the deep dish pizza. It takes longer but the regular pizza isn't anything special. We also got a milkshake, which was delicious. It was too cold and snowy to eat outside and there are no other options for indoor seating so, we took our pizza back to our igloo at the Reindeer Ranch. It was only a few minutes away. Otherwise eat it hot in your car. This looks like a fun place to come when it is warmer. There is mini golf and more to do. Loved supporting them in the colder months.

Expensive! Chicken wings were fatty and did not cook crispy and calzones had no regatta in them. They only take cash and no delivery.

Unique atmosphere with delicious food! Stopped by for lunch, pizza was very good with a chewy crust. Hot wings were perfectly cooked and sauced, not breaded. It’s located off the main road toward Chena Hot Springs, follow sign and you will not be disappointed!

Peeked at Google real quick and it showed they were open. Yes we could have called before we left but we put our faith into Google. Got out there and they were closed. Called their # to see if maybe it was a fluke and no one answered. Nor did it say "we're attending blah blah not open." Reached out to them to say maybe advertise it a little more so people don't make the drive out there. I received a snarky message back saying "Google is not right about everything. And we always tell people to call first. In life things happen. And in this case we did advertise it on our Facebook today and last week." Not everyone has Facebook. To use that as your sole place to advertise when you're open/not isn't fair to those who don't use that platform of social media. But it's okay because we went to Hungry Robot instead. I'm sure they appreciated our $100+ order more than they would have. Haven't been here but won't be due to lack of customer service.

If you're from CO, & missing Beau Jo's go for the Denver Mile High, they even include a little cup with honey to dip your crust in. The New Yorker is also a great NYC style slice!
