We stopped here for breakfast and it was sooooo good!! The omelette and the pancakes are amazing! To top it off the people that work here are so warm and welcoming. This place is a must if you stay in Girdwood.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had at a restaurant. For real. The outside of the place doesn’t look like much, but that’s probably bc they’re busy inside making good food. Husband had a cheesesteak. It’s chopped, not shaved. He said it was great. Good fries, too.

I almost am hesitant to give such a positive review, but it wouldn't be far not to recognize the Hightower Pub and the staff. Everything and everyone at the restaurant was 5+. The food was awesome! The portions were above average and the quality was just as good. The service, was completely positive and the atmosphere was also great. I will go out of my way to stop here again.

Hightower is a unique experience. If you want breakfast, be ready to have a very American, delicious breakfast. Omelets, burritos, etc.
However, dinner time at the Hightower is another experience. Friday through Monday Fat n Sassys by Chef Gref is at the Hightower. Bahn Mis, Smash Burgers (animal style)🤤, Chicken sandos, AMAZING Brussel sprouts, and more! Mic nights, local brew, and at the center of Girdwood.... Hightower is a piece of Alaskan history you'll want to experience!
If you skip past the Hightower, you're missing out. If the Hightower isn't what you're looking for, and you want finer dining, try Spoonline across the street!
If you want a real Girdwood experience, where you can meet locals, eat good food and see where Girdwoodians hang out, the spot is HIGHTOWER!

High quality and good vibes what a great combo! Truly fantastic salads which of course I added pork belly too as a protein and it was incredible! burgers/ fries American grill vibes yes but go in with high expectations & you won’t be disappointed. I think my favorite aspect is perhaps the super chill environment. It’s not at all pretentious despite the rapid gentrification happening in the area. Expect to hang out with locals who also appreciate the thoughtful and skilled Love this food is made with and sitting with friends at the bar. Also, one of the best music venues around usually on weekends! Smash burger and fries are also fantastic fyi. I hope to try the whole menu, I intend to. Nice drink selection if that’s your thing if it’s not, they have a couple NA options also. Chef owned fyi
Vegetarian options: You will go out of your way to accommodate you. You have more than one option and it would be delicious but I wouldn’t call this a “vegetarian restaurant”. Their meat is just too good!
Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free because of an allergy and I didn’t have to worry about it. I had options. It was nice. I recommend a salad with the pork belly on the side!
