What a place! YUM! We weren’t sure where to go for breakfast in town as it was our first time to Girdwood, but we followed our nose! And it led us straight to Hightower Pub! You can tell by the outside that this place is humble. The food BLEW ME AWAY! I’m a huge fan of French toast and they rocked it. The coffee was delightful. Definitely 10/10.

I came here for breakfast and got their French toast with Apple Chutney. It was really good and the service was quick. I was the only one when I arrived at 7am, but by the time I left there was no more room at the tables and standing room only! I'll be back to eat breakfast here in the future, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat.

We’ve been in town for a week and wandered in thinking it was just a coffee shop. What we found was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in ages. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the meal itself was so hearty I went nearly 12 hours before feeling hungry again. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
It’s the kind of place that surprises you in the best way. Comfortable. Welcoming. Unforgettable. We’ll be back tomorrow and most likely again after that.

Service and food was outstanding. Limited menu but the quality and price can’t be beat. Ate at 49th state in Anchorage and we thought this was better - food and price. We had tacos, chips and guacamole and the special. All amazing - great choice if you are in the area.

Really chill place with nice options for breakfast and lunch. Our group tried the biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burrito. All were delicious. We returned on a second occasion during our trip for French toast and a breakfast bowl. The dishes aren’t groundbreaking but this is among the best places to eat in Girdwood.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was cute and rustic. The menu is confusing as it seems to change day to day, for example, the day we were there the menu was all Mexican food, however it seems to not always be that way. The food itself (we got nachos and smash burgers with chorizo) was tasty and fries were cooked perfectly. I will say the nachos desperately needed some vegetables, maybe tomatoes? And the burger was fairly one-note in terms of flavor. Additionally all the flavor was pretty greasy. Still, reliable food, and great service

The breakfast potatoes were some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend if you are staying in Girdwood.
