We took the one-hour Portage Glacier cruise and had a fantastic time—it was the perfect family outing! On the ride to the glacier, we were lucky enough to spot a mountain goat and an eagle. Our captain even brought us up close to a beautiful waterfall along the way, which was a nice surprise. At the glacier, we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the stunning views. One highlight was when the staff scooped up a piece of floating glacier ice for everyone to see and touch—such a cool moment! The entire crew was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our experience. The boat was clean and comfortable, with great viewing areas both indoors on the lower level and outside on the upper deck. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this cruise for anyone visiting the area!

Food was ok, this seemed to very clearly be a stop to take the tourist. I had the soup and it was nothing special. Service was fast and friendly though. Building was in decent shape overall and it was easy to find with ample parking.

Extra-mediocre premade food at unusually high prices in a not-super-clean dining room. $7 per slice of pizza? Really?
2 slices of pizza, a small premade salad, a small bag of chips, a piece of cornbread, and a piece of pie = $37 lunch for two. But at least the location was convenient and the taxidermy-style fish up on the wall taught me the differences between all the types of salmon.

Super nice and friendly staff. Great varied collection of Alaskan made art in the shop. We didn't eat while we were there.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Some unique items. Restaurant needs better exhaust. The whole place smells like the kitchen.

Had stopped here before, but it seems like new management has taken over and they are so sweet and running the place smoothly. They have an amazing little coffee shop inside that's delicious.

Great tasting food, even through the actual presentation of the food (cabinets they were in seemed 'amateurish'). In otherwords don't let it put you off selecting what you want. Place is very clean and tidy. Good range of local (not foreign made) souvenirs. Friendly staff.
